This location is a bit frustrating for me. As a Canadian, I'm excited to checkout Ulta every time I'm in the area since we do not have any stores back home. The store itself is clean, but a few product testers are pretty grimy. On a Thursday evening they had about 4 employees working but it was a struggle to get someone to help us. My sister and I came in here to check out what's new and to grab the Tarte Shape Tape concealer. No surprise to us, a lot of the products were sold out but we decided to ask a sales associate if they might have any pieces in the back. We asked one employee and she quickly replied, "Yes, sorry this is all we have" so we decided to move on. After looking around, we decided to ask another employee the same question, and she was much more helpful! She offered to check the front stock for us, and came back with 3 products! We were so happy we asked another employee to help us out! I didn't catch her name, but she wore glasses and had short red hair. As we continued on looking for other items, I came across the same dilemma with another product. This time around, not only 15min later, there were no employees to be found, I actually had to search around the store and almost went to the back room to find someone. Even though there were about 6 customers in the store, there were two employees at the cash. ( One I think was new and in training ) Finally when we got to the cash, we had to wait for about 5-7 min with a line building up behind us for one employee to cash out everyone. I really wish they had a few more employees working the cash, it would've made the whole process a lot faster. I also wish Ulta carried The Balm an L.A. Girl products Overall, it was a pretty poor experience, and it's highly doubtful I will return to this location. read more

Truly a 0. Never will shop at Ulta again unless I want to be belittled, accused, and ignored. Was ignored the first time I came in. Then when I came back because of a problem with an item, Laura, a manager, made me feel as if I had done something criminal because of a computer error. Kathy, the general manager, then made excuses for why it was fine for Laura to accuse and question me directly at least three times during an exchange with receipt. Heather, the regional manager, also believes this was all justified and did nothing to rectify the situation. I truly have no reason to shop here again. The outlet mall right next door has similar products in at least three stores, Sephora has a more diverse selection, and the drug store is always an alternative. read more

Staff is very unfriendly. Doesn't ask if you need help, will act annoyed when you ask for help and gives dirty looks. When I walked up to pay, three girls were standing there talking. Did not greet me and just began ringing up items after I placed my stuff down. They need new workers who are actually there to service customers. read more

If I could rate this location no stars I would have, I'm that enraged and insulted by the poor treatment of an employee working there. My daughter is a fantastic and constant shopper of ulta, and she has most of, if not all of her beauty products from ulta. So as we were having a rare mother- daughter afternoon spending time together, my daughter asked if we could stop at ulta in niagara falls so she could get a beauty product she recently ran out of and of course I complied with her request. Within 5 mins of walking into the store we were treated so poorly by a short middle aged woman with dark hair that was working there. I was so taken back by her behavior and rudeness that I literally had to stop for a moment and collect myself, at which time my daughter looked at me and suggested we just leave the store. So not even halfway done looking through the store we collected our items and cashed out. The very ignorant woman continued to follow us up to the register and just stood there with a very demeaning grin on her face. The 2 girls at the cash registers were very friendly and helpful, but in all my life I have NEVER been treated the way we were treated this afternoon by that horribly trained woman in that store. It upset me and my daughter to such an extent that any plans we had for the rest of the afternoon were not important anymore and we proceeded home. I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN, nor will my daughter. Which is very unfortunate because as I stated earlier my daughter is a fantastic customer and has been for quite some years now. That's how appalled we are by ONE employees behavior!!! HORRIBLE REPRESENTATION OF AN ULTA EMPLOYEE. HORRIBLE!!! read more

I spent hundreds and hundred of dollars at ULTA every year. I'm sad to say I'm done with this place. I went here for a hair appointment the (blonde specialist) hairstylist was emotionless and not very friendly. I was told "I can get you pretty light blonde with a hi lift." Well she lied, it turned orange and then she covered it up with a dark color so back to square one with even more damaged hair. They charged me for the retouch and to fix it. I got up to the counter to pay and one of the store employees noticed I was upset bc I had to leave with even longer dark roots than what I came in with. She told her GM and she basically said I talked to so and so and she said you got what you asked for! I asked to have my roots orange? I was told they'd be a light golden blonde and they were dark orange peel orange on top and underneath was still brown. The GM was very unprofessional with how she spoke to me. I had to tell her to not act so frustrated with me when all I was doing was explaining what happened, because she raised her voice at me in front of a huge line of people. I wanted to cry, I left with wet hair feeling embarrassed and ugly. I don't recommend going to the salon ever. I'll be shopping at Sephora from now on read more
