The conducted a surgery on my animal that they were clearly not qualified to conduct a tooth extraction. After three days I phoned the vet concerned as the animal was really suffering. I asked whether she was sure the entire tooth had been extracted as I could see something was wrong. She insisted she had been at the surgery and that the entire tooth had been extracted and I simply needed to come down and buy some additional medicine. This situation continued for two weeks. Finally when I saw the tooth area was turning black I called again. They again wanted to sell me another medicine for the animal. I insisted on sending them a picture at which point they asked me to bring the animal in for another checkup. The vet, not the original vet, immediately admitted the surgery had not been properly done and suggested I take the animal to a specialist to have the remnants of the tooth extracted. I have really no words for a vet who seems only concerned with making money with little or no interest in an animal's well being. Why suggest doing a surgery when you or your staff are not qualified to do that? I received no apologies. My animal was not herself and had the infection continued could have died. Their seemed to be no apparent recognition of their mistake as if this was an ordinary occurrence at their clinic. Furthermore they never gave the animal anti-biotic after the surgery and failed to inform me of this fact.
At additional time and expense I had to take my animal to another vet, who resolved the problem. I have requested reimbursement from the Tierarzt am Schlachtensee for the additional bills which occurred due to their negligence. I am yet to have any response and everyone says I will have to sue them. One thing is for certain I will find a competent vet and you should too!
This site forces you to give some kind of rating in order to post information. I wouldn't rate this clinic at all. Simply do not go there. In addition to the poor service, the clinic is dirty and unsanitary.
am 8 Juni 2018 kam ich zur Tierarztpraxis am Schlachtensee um meiner Katze ihre jährlichen Impfungen gegen Katzenseuche, Katzenschnupfen und Tollwut geben zu lassen. Während des Termins sprach ich Katze chronische Zahnfleischentzündung an. Nach Ihrer Untersuchung der Katze haben Sie festgestellt, dass ihr gebrochener Zahn die Quelle der chronischen Entzündung ist und entfernt werden sollte.
Am 13 Juni 2018 wurde in Ihrer Praxis die Zahnextraktion gemacht.
Vor der Operation erklärten Sie, durch die Operation könnten Infektionen eintreten. Zuhause nach der Operation beobachtete ich den Mund von der Katze. Nach einer Woche war ihr Mund entzündet und sah schlimmer als zuvor aus. Die Katze wollte nicht ihren Mund aufmachen. Es sah so aus, als wäre nicht der gesamte Zahn extrahiert worden. Am 22 Juni rief ich Ihre Praxis an und fragte ob es möglich sei, dass nicht der ganze Zahn extrahiert worden ist und aufgrund dessen die richtige Heilung verhinderte. Sie hatten mir gesagt, dass Sie bei der Operation dabei waren und dass der gesamte Zahn extrahiert wurde. Sie schlugen vor, pflanzliche Tabletten zu kaufen, die die Entzündungen reduzieren könnten. Ich habe diese gekauft. Ich habe der Katze die Tabletten gegeben, sah aber keine Änderung. Die Katze ging es schlechter und schlechter. Am 29 Juni 2018 rief ich in Ihrer Praxis noch einmal an. Der Rezeptionist empfahl, ein anderes Medikament zu kaufen. Ich schlug vor, dass ich zuerst ein Foto des Katzenmundes sende, weil das Loch, wo der Zahn extrahiert worden war, schwarz aussah.
Am 30 Juni bin ich mit meiner Katze noch einmal in die Praxis gekommen. Die Tierärztin untersuchte sie und sagte sofort, etwas ist nicht richtig gemacht worden. Sie empfahl Dr. XXX, den Tierzahnarzt, sofort aufzusuchen. Am 3 Juli extrahierte Dr. XXX das von Ihnen nicht entfernten Zahnteil.
