UISCE is a water sports adventure centre where you can learn all these things while also learning Irish. I was on one of the first courses back in the early 90's as a school boy and the centre has gone from strength to strength. The original building was actually a whaling centre in the 1900's and then a toy factory but is now a state of the art adventure/water sports facility. They have Easter and summer courses for secondary school kids and is very popular with them seeing from all the buses arriving at the start of the courses. They also rent equipment and run courses for adults if learning Irish is not your thing but "Making Irish Fun" is their motto. Very friendly staff and an excellent location. P.S.
