I brought in a 14-inch 2021 MacBook Pro that had suffered liquid damage from a hot starchy water spill. The laptop had completely stopped turning on. No power, no normal signs of life, and from what I had already been told elsewhere, it sounded like the kind of problem that often gets written off as not worth fixing.
From the start, IT-Tech felt like a different category of repair shop. They were realistic about the risks, but they also clearly understood that this was a board-level problem and not something that could be solved with a superficial clean. What I appreciated was that they did not pressure me into an open-ended money pit. The arrangement was clear: if they could fix it, there would be a set repair cost, and if they could not, I would not be charged. That mattered a lot.
Frances in particular was excellent to deal with. She was kind, calm, and professional throughout the whole process. She communicated updates clearly, explained where things were at, and made a pretty awful situation feel manageable. When you are handing over an expensive machine that seems dead, that kind of communication matters a lot.
The repair itself took around 3 weeks, which to me actually made the whole process more credible. This was not some rushed same-day guess. It was clearly something that took proper investigation, labour, and probably sourcing or deeper board work. In the end, they got the machine working again.
When I picked it up, the MacBook powered on properly, the display looked great, the speakers were working well, and overall it was obvious that the laptop had genuinely been brought back to life. That was a huge relief. They also gave me a receipt and explained the warranty.
Overall, I found them fair, technically competent, and trustworthy. I would especially like to thank Frances for being so decent and helpful through the whole thing. Liquid damage repairs are never simple, but based on my experience, IT-Tech Online are the kind of people you want handling that kind of job.
