Customer service is a very difficult job especially in today's world. Both the young lady and the cashier who rang me out had the most pleasant demeanor, both interacted with their customers. The employees are consistently helpful and friendly, and they're always nice to my little girl, who's with me most of the time when I go inside because I rarely go in unless we're getting ice cream. And that's the real reason to get gas at UDF, right? Sweet, sweet ice cream. They have monthly deals - BOGO scoops, discounted flavors, deals on shakes, etc. Now and then, it's a nice easy treat for us during a stop for fuel.

I was excited when I saw the massive scoops he gave me. He asked if I wanted a bowl in case it fell over and I said that would be great. My problem is that while helping my daughter with her Icee he turned the cone over and put it in the bowl, that's not what I asked for. It's located on the end of a very small strip with mostly defunct stores. It's dim, it's dingy, it's a little on the dive-y side, but you know what? They have creamy whip!!! That's right! Creamy whip at a random, dive-y convenience store. They also have like a thousand different scratch offs to choose from right next to the checkout counter, so if you feel lucky, then by all means... Plus, the employees there were friendly as all get out. This Ameristop ain't much to look at, but it's what's on the inside that counts, right?
