I've had mostly positive experiences here. ED staff treated me quickly for sepsis caused by a UTI…read morein January 2026. Nurses on my floor were all wonderful except one. Doctors were great except 2 - whoever was on the 5th floor Monday night, January 19, and the doctor in charge of my care. These 2 doctors and a RN failed to listen to my questions, display empathy, and attributed my distress to GAD. Yes, they diagnosed me with generalized anxiety disorder after our very brief interactions. Dr Guy Adair (the hospitalist in charge of my care) straight up LIED in his notes, saying I was "pacing the hallways." He also became defensive when I asked for clarification regarding my care. When I asked him why I should stay for a 3rd night even though all my symptoms were gone and my blood work was normal, he said, "if you go home now and your infection returns, you could die." I reported his behavior to the RN on duty as well as the discharge nurse. I also submitted a formal complaint online and received a phone call from UCHealth which I appreciated. I also filed a request to amend my medical records. I do not have, nor have I ever, had anxiety. I do still recommend this hospital because of all the other staff who work here. My mom also has been a patient here and 99% of her experience has been positive. For anyone reading this - you have the right to speak up and ask questions. It's YOUR body.

I was referred to this facility because I am in kidney failure. The transplant doctor who attempted…read moreto place a fistula didn't do it correctly. While speaking with him he threw a temper tantrums worse than a 2 year old screaming on the floor. I was told I couldn't come back. The transplant nurses are rude and nasty to try and make the patient feel bad and it's their fault. I had been there in the past and said I will never go back. But, I didn't have a choice. Because they are the big transplant hospital here. I was injured and told if they had to fix my fistula the surgeon would paralyze my hand.

I was seen promptly and discharged in a timely manner. I do know that they can get extremely busy at peak times, but my experience on this occasion was positive. I'd highly recommend this clinic, just make sure they're in your insurance network.

This place is a sad excuse for an emergency department. I live with Ulcerative Colitis, so I am…read morenot a stranger to visits to the ER. I was presenting a serious flare of Shingles and a staff infection on my face. I was also experiencing flare pains in my stomach and severe nerve pain in my arm, shoulder, chest and back on my right side. The doctor talked to me for about 3 minutes and then left the room while the nurse took my vitals and found my blood pressure was alarmingly high because of the high level of pain. I received nothing for the pain, no IV for fluids or even a psychical exam of my stomach, chest or back, even with no mobility in my right arm. Their response you ask? An ice pack and a prescription for Neosporin. Embarrassing, bare minimum level of care. They should be ashamed to call themselves an emergency center. Then...they had the audacity to charge me and my insurance for a full ER visit when an urgent care could've done the same thing, probably more. What is the point of going to the ER when I could've just went to the grocery store to get an ice pack and Neosporin? Unacceptable.
