I always have wonderful drivers with Uber. No complaints. I just had an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH UBER THE COMPANY! I was overcharged for an erroneous cancellation of $25. I somehow found a place under my ride to state the issue and request a $20 refund to the "Robot". When I woke this morning I found communication saying I was given $25 refund. I am very impressed. I looked everywhere on UBER to follow up with a thank you, but was unsuccessful. This is my Thank You! I got told I did something in 2025 I was wondering if you gave my account to someone else. I recommend everyone to go to Lyft as their customer service is more respectful and they hear their drivers out. And I drive Lyft im on top 10% of best drivers in my region I don't understand how im not capable of being a driver for uber. What crime did I do that you guys immediately just answer and end the conversation and if you guys did a investigation why are you not telling me what I did wrong. I paid for a whole inspection and got nothing out of it, they tell you it's 19 dollars but then when you get there it's double the amount they told you. When I renewed my account I deleted it and I put my new car and put my license my ID photo and everything and I even put the inspection paper. If it wasn't gonna work from the beginning, they shouldn't have never sent me to get an inspection done. That's a waste of my time and everyone else's. And again they never gave me a clear reasoning on what I did in 2025 that was a crime considered in their eyes. I didn't drive during 2025. I am more than 90% sure that they gave my account to somebody else or somebody stole my info and drove with my account. BEWARE OF UBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a Senior Citizen (age 71) I have been targeted by financial fraud before and lost a substantial money amount, hence I am now HYPER Vigilant about my Finances.... I Just checked my Credit Cards and found a large Monetary Trip charge from the San Francisco Area. I live in the Fresno Area and have NOT been in San Francisco for OVER 20 years!!!! There is NO Way to contact Uber Staff to find out WHY this happened. There is NO WAY TO FILE a FRAUD REPORT with UBER without giving up my personal information. I am now taking the following steps: 1. Filed a Fraud Report and Canceled my Credit Card with the Credit Card Company. 2. I Filed a Police Report. 3. I am now in process of notifying the State Attorney General's Office of UBER's Credit Card Fraud. 4. I am also in process of notifying the US Attorney General's Office of the Financial Fraud. I have to say, this WAS a convenient option when I was in a pinch. First timer was fun watching the Tesla Model 3 move closer to my location. Other than the driver smelling of body odor/urine, I mean. He was nice and I ordered the windows down also due to Covid. Come on guy, Really? That's how you're arriving??? I have used UBER Courier Service now about a 1/2 dozen times with no issues whatsoever. UNTIL TODAY. I hired a driver explained that it was about an hour and a half drive - he said yes, I double checked it was ok, he said yes. Literally not 6 minutes later I get a message that the package was delivered!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME - DID HE FLY?? Upon review the driver stated it was delivered to an address that does not even exist not even with US Post Office. So I tell my neighbor who is a sheriff and we get in the car and go to said address trying to see if he threw the package out on the street somewhere. UBER's customer service could not help really - they reached out to said driver and told him to call me - no call happened. I called over and over again and still no call back. You can no longer leave reviews on UBER that are public - you can only complain privately. I am now filing a theft report with the Sheriff's office. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE !!!! read more

Don't count on Uber in the city of Fresno. I've tried literally 20 times to take it in the last 8 weeks and have never been able to secure a ride. One time I secured a ride and then saw that surge prices were being added and my $13 ride was going to be $42!! I walked the 3 miles instead! Also uber eats has failed to deliver 3 meals. When I went to cancel after waiting 4 hours, they tried to make me pay a cancelation charge!! Lyft is spotty but at least doesn't have surge prices. read more

I have used Uber quite a few times now and most definitely a fan! I recently used them on my birthday (St. Patrick's Day; Best day ever) and in mid-April when I had to leave my car at the shop all day. The drivers were very friendly and extremely fast to arrive. The App allows you to see their every turn, drivers name, license plate and approximate time of arrive! (Awesome)Both my drivers were very friendly and had good personality plus fully functioning cars. Using taxi's is so 1980's, Very happy that Uber was invented. Also I love the "no cash or tipping policy; what you get quoted is what you pay. By the way you must have a Paypal account. I received a email confirmation of my pick up time and date but NO ONE arrived to pick me up! Never again! You can't get a hold of them to see if they are going to arrive. SO upsetting! I tried Fresno Uber for the first time today. I allowed 1 hour for the 20 minute ride. The app said the car will pick me up in 8 minutes. Five minutes later, it was still 8 minutes. A few more minutes and the wait time increased to 9 minutes. This up and down continued for around 15 minutes before I called the driver and told him I was going to be late for my medical appointment if he doesn't get here soon. He said he's not sure when he will get here and it sounded like he was picking up other rides while keeping me waiting. I cancelled the ride and rescheduled my appointment. We've used Uber elsewhere, including internationally and never ran into such irresponsible and unprofessional attitude and behavior. No more Fresno Uber for me. read more

Have used Uber many times. Had great experiences with most of the drivers. One minor complaint I have is that I am partially disabled and use a cane. It's bad enough after all of the added on fees, you'll pay at least an extra $10-$12 on top of your already expensive order, they'll ask you if you want to leave a tip for the driver. Um, excuse me, he already got his tip and then some, so I don't leave tips after a driver told me that even if I don't leave a tip, they still get paid for the delivery! So when you tip, UberEats pockets that! My last order, I pressed $0 for the tip before checkout and UberEats charged an extra $8 and change to my card for a tip for the driver, I was furious! With their extra fees, my food went from being around $25.00 to $35.00. After the unauthorized tip that was deducted from my card, the price went up to $44.00! I used Uber a ton in Sacramento and I have to say it's unbeatable. You download the app on your iPhone, tablet, etc. or visit the website and create an account with payment information. It's able to track your location provide the closest vehicles to you. Your also able to monitor which type of vehicle you need (SUV, luxury, basic). Within 10 minutes a vehicle will show up at your location tracked by there map software. The rates are a really reasonable formula multiplying the time of your trip and the distance. Nothing is given to the driver it is all tracked online and your card is charged after your ride. Awesome service I recommend trying. Good for out on the town. read more

UBER EATS HAD MY CAR TOWED AND LEFT ME STRANDED!!!!! I did a pickup for a delivery in an unfamiliar mall. This mall had no parking and the restaurant instructions were unclear; requiring that I go past a Mc Donald LS that is only visible within the mall. I drove up and down looking for the landmark, so when I finally entered the mall I realized that the restaurant was on the 3rd floor. I pick up the food items and when I came back, my car was towed. I only had my phone with me, and I was left in an unknown location. When I asked for assistance- here's the kicker: Only Uber the Uber Driver app has live support, not Uber eats, so while I wait for a 24-48 hour response, I can only get generic messages from Uber Eats because there is absolutely NO ONE, not a manager, supervisor or anyone to discuss this matter with. I couldn't even get a ride to the towing company and had to walk on foot to find my way to a train station and beg the train operator for a free ride home. Not to mention the previous tickets accumulated while waiting for the restaurant do finish the orders. Terrible service for drivers. I am distraught as I still do not have my car, ID or purse, and I still haven't spoken to anyone at Uber Eats, as Uber doesn't handle these kinds of situations. read more
