One year later, the replacement battery was leaking acid, and the car wouldn't start. This place went out of its way not to honor the warranty on the replacement battery, arguing that the warranty was already honored, even after telling us that the model they put in as a replacement was known to be repeatedly unreliable. The right thing to do would be to suck it up and replace the defective crap they put in our car with a working model. Doing the right thing is apparently not on Autozone's agenda.

They kept my car for about a week, and during that time I had to spend a significant amount of money on Ubers and Lyfts because I had no vehicle. I was repeatedly told they were waiting on a part that hadn't arrived. Eventually, they called to say my car was finished. I paid approximately $2,000 and was waiting for them to bring my car around. After about 20 minutes, they came back and told me they actually needed to order another part but I could drive my car for now. The check engine light was still on. It took about another week for that part to arrive. Then I was told it would cost around another $2,000. At that point, I tried to work out some kind of solution or discount with them because of everything that happened. As of the time I'm writing this review, I have not received a response despite attempts to follow up. What disappointed me most was the communication throughout the process. Being told my car was finished, paying for the repair, and then finding out more repair parts were needed. Combined with the delays, additional transportation costs, and the lack of follow-up afterward, this was not the level of service I expected. This review reflects my personal experience. I hope the shop is able to improve its communication and customer service going forward.

We stopped so I could check that it was secure, since it has several thousand dollars worth in tools and supplies inside. I found the door was not locked and upon checking, I could see it had not been in the shop at all, although I had been led to believe work was in progress. I got in and drove it to my secure location. This "am" I called and Brandi was not aware my vehicle was no longer on their premises as Brandi said, "I didn't realize," then she was at a loss for words.
