Picture a large metro station and a mall…read more I took the CAT from the airport to here. Then easily caught the U4 to my hotel. A very clean and busy station. Every U, S and CAT are well marked. The ticket kiosks were easy to find and use. They are available in several languages. There is also a OBB office here. I stopped back in a few days later to purchase a day trip to Bratislava and a round trip to Budapest. I found it easier to talk with a representative in person. Glad I did, as he gave me better station options and a reserved seat. I wish the States had a great rail system.

This subway station serves its purpose. It is on the edge of Innere Stadt Vienna. It is a good…read morejumping-off point in order to walk around the central area. The exterior at ground level is ordinary but the station itself is clean, well-marked and easy to use. There are a few services and retail opportunities below ground before descending to the tracks. There are machines for ticket purchase that are easy to find. The tracks are deep underground so it is a long way up if you want to climb the steps.

I like the "Art" it has on display most of the time, there has been more effort made in this station to display art. It is not the best station to change lines on, as the distance you need to walk between lines is quit far. But fortunately for me i almost never change lines at this station.
