Save yourself the bother & money, skip this pub that's famous for Bill Clinton visiting when in Prague. Very unwelcoming & unfriendly to tourists. I actually thought we weren't going to be served our beers since the 2 beertenders kept ignoring us. My boots were actually sticking to the dirty floor! Plenty of other establishments to enjoy a beer.

Us 'happy faces' with the locals.

What a fun place to be! Apparently Bill Clinton was here before. Regardless, my bf and I walked in, it was completely packed. The host went, 'want to come in?' (I was thinking, why else am I here? lol) there weren't empty seats, mostly bier garten style with benches, so the host sat us down with some other locals. Then he asked, 'want beer?'. I go, 'ya, may I have a menu?' He came back with 2 beers. I was like what kind are those? He went, 'they are beer' lol apparently they only serve one beer at the place when we were there haha. People from Prague held their pride on their national beer, Pilsner Urquell, which is what we had. It's great from tap. The locals we met at our table were super nice. We talked, and they bought us a round haha. This was one of my greatest memory in Europe.

Absolutely classic. Bohumil Hrabal used to drink here and if it's good enough for him it's good enough for me.

Let's gooooooo I…read moreactually, embarrassed to admit, walked right past it you have to know where you're going!!! Quaint, beautiful, the decor was on point and not in your face overdone. Before I go into the gist of the menus and staff.... I do need to say the best espresso I've also had thus far - not brewed too hot and had wonderful light earth/stone fruit notes. Okay, so they give you a little "fob" with your menu. Some may think this like an ordering number or tracker etc. lol nope - turn it on and explore baby! The whole menu is a map to explore and it's as fun as you want. The staff will help guide you if you ask . If you want a great drink and a little reminder keepsake dare I recommend remember remember

The server drops off dark felt bound drink menus and then gives little Black light flashlights. As you open the menu, you're greeted with white writing on black pages with three flavor profiles per drink. The backlight revels more about your cocktail of choice based on a flavor profile. A lot of the drinks seem cool and many have a very dark liquor profile. The drinks are a little pricy-as expected in a handcrafted speakeasy very little seating. Overall, a really cool place that didn't seem very touristy, but made our experience extra special as it felt like a spot only the locals knew. Drinks are made strong, so pick your profile with intention.

Saw the bras hanging as we walked in, made me chuckle. We were seated right away, in a small room with a fair amount going on. I picked the Jim Morrison along with the fries and lovely K had the Janis Joplin, also with fries. Both choices were a very good sized portion with a good amount of fries. The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries. They were not hot, and had been cooked too long. The outside was crispy with a good crunch, but the interior was not what we were looking for. Could have been epic with nice fries, but they missed the mark by just a bit.
