My credit card was compromised an hour after it was use at this location! Be careful use cash at this location.

As former military, we have lived in six different states and two foreign countries with APO addresses. We have never had issues getting our mail. Since moving to Roscommon, MI, three years ago, we have lots of issues. The mail carrier rarely delivers our mail. I have made several complaints to the main USPS office which is the only way to get the local Roscommon office to address the issues we have been having over the last three years. We were even told to get a PO Box but that is $100 a quarter. I spoke with a lawyer and was told that the USPS cannot arbitrarily refuse mail delivery. If you have similar issues, contact the USPS Inspector. We refuse to accept this situation and will continue to file complaints. read more

Terrible service. My carrier does not deliver my mail. I have mailed 4 items to myself over 4 week period. None of the items were delivered. Went to the office and spoke to the supervisor. The supervisor was rude and not interested in resolving the problem. The staff should be fired and replaced with competent workers. Start with the supervisor and work down from there. read more

The customer service was top 10 worst I've ever had. I ordered a package, it arrived to the location, they made no attempt to deliver it. I went the next day to pick it up. The employee did a circle around with minimal effort to find it and told me it was not there. I tried to show tracking that it was there and transfered to another carrier for delivery but they replied with they returned it to the sender then. read more

this post office NEVER answers the phone. sometimes they even turn it off so you can not get through. I find it extremely rude and unprofessional, not to mention they lose packages or deliver them without notice and leave them on the side of the road to get stolen. I had a package with $180 worth of merchandise that they just threw on the side of the road next to my mailbox for somebody to steal and luckily the company replaced it because when I called the post office they were trying to blame me!! even though I called that morning and they said they were holding the package for me and then a few hours later I was told they left it on the side of the road next to my mailbox! my mailbox is almost a mile away from my house, not to mention, so I usually have to keep in contact with them to know when it's being delivered so that I can go down there and meet them! but they took it upon themselves to just put it on the side of the road without any notice after I called early that morning and spoke to the man who owns the post office and he assured me he would hold the package and I was gonna come in at four and pick it up ! I truthfully think that they might have even stole my package and just tried to say they delivered it because this is not the first time I've had sketchy experiences with them! they've also delivered my packages to the wrong houses right next-door to me multiple times. But other times they claim they do not come down our road to deliver anything but the manager did go out of his way to go find my package check it out and bring it to me which was delivered to somebody's house and like I said, they claim they do not deliver to the house because they are too far. read more

You don't deliver packages to cabins? Seriously? So I own a HOME (not a cabin) in Roscommon that I pay taxes on that pays your salary and you won't deliver a package there? So thanks for the hassle and the delayed package delivery that I now have to reship to Ohio to drive it up there myself. This is why the Post Office is going to hell in a handbasket. Gov't workers....and rude on top of that when I asked a simple question. Thanks for nothing. read more

This post office had all mail/packages returned to sender because they did a change of address based off a phone call. Obviously the wrong information was collected. (Which is prob why a physical change of address card is supposed to be required) now I have several packages being sent back. I stopped in and got bad customer service as they defended the fact they changed my address based off a phone call. (A phone call nobody in my household made) I don't know if it is a mix up or just irresponsibility on the post offices behalf. Either way I filed a formal complaint outside of this local post office. I'm also attempting to have my packages resent without cost to me. This local post office has not been helpful and changed their story about why my package was returned instead of admitting they made a mistake. What other post office can just randomly change someone's address with out filing a formal change of address card over the phone? To much room for error as you can see from my experience here. I do not recommend this post office. Also previously I had 2 packages disappear in the mail system from this post office. I def do not recommend this location. read more

I really didn't want to post a bad review, but it has gotten so bad, I a trying to warn others. We have lately gotten terrible service - Won't delver to house because the drive is 100 ft. Well I have lived here for 15 years, and no problem. Now we have new carrier (lady) she won't walk it, and so they don't deliver. Unbelievable! This use to be an awesome post office when we first moved here. What happened? Lost packages in the past too. If you can use another post office I would advise you to do that. read more
