A textbook example of the kind of business yelp needs to allow 0 stars for An impressively incompetent group of people, a carelessness and ego that begins from the top down by the irresponsible actions, I implore you to pay attention to the countless reviews (the hidden ones too!) on this page of people whose money was quickly accepted by Sanjay Sobti and his ragtag staff, only to be ignored, and their needs disregarded. To take on the roles of an immigration law firm, an inherently emotional, risky, and complicated process, and treat those who seek your services as nothing more but sources of dollars is frankly disgusting. The lack of basic document organization, appointment followups, administrative attention to detail, and just a general lack of knowledge of the various USCIS processes would leave even the most naive client dumbfounded. On one occasion, in trying to get in contact with the poor recently college graduated paralegal that was supposed to be organizing my case, I was told multiple times that he was "on vacation" and to try again in a few days. Of course a month or so later they would instead admit he no longer worked there. Certainly the thousands of dollars I paid them up front were not because I wanted an unfamiliar college student to be the one filling out some of the most important paperwork of my life, nor did I want to actively be lied regarding the delays of what should be a simple filing. Once they did finally file stuff after months of delays, they sent me a thank you letter (with some other client's name on it) and a copy of the filing. I then was able to see with my own eyes the various typos and incorrect information that was submitted, where even my country of origin was incorrect. Numerous angry phone calls and emails fell on deaf ears, as clearly none of the staff cares about the people whose lives they are actively ruining. I had to be the one to call USCIS to sort out the critical typos (including my full correct name) I had to be the one that received a request for additional documentation, after US Law Center failed to realize that my birth certificate was abstract, and USCIS only accepts the newer long form ones (a detail you would think a California based immigration firm would have seen and be aware of) I had to be the one to correct them when they tried to charge me ~400 dollars to "renew" my green card which was still processing and had not yet even been granted. Nowadays you'll find an associate of this firm, an "Attorney Valdez", making short form content on TikTok in Spanish. I was originally recommended this place from a coworker, and after seeing the clientele and my own experience I can only imagine this places one goal in life is to prey on the Latino community. Disregard the few positive reviews, as clearly each of those comes at the cost of 9 other people's cases being neglected. None of these complaints matter if people continue to walk into their doors, (you'll see only replies to good reviews, probably by an overworked intern). My mother has been working with the law office since 2019 nothing has been resolved I understand covid hit but that was 2020. We made an appointment for 9:30 am for a consultation for a fairly minor immigration issue. When we arrived there was standing room only in the office. They gave us an orange paper filled out with our name and they put a number on the back. After about 20 minutes they sent us upstairs where there were chairs for us to sit. There were about 10 young female employees running around shuffling about 60 clients from one part of the office to the next and taping the orange papers on doors so the single attorney who was there can meet with them in the appointed room. During this chaotic mess, the employees were walking around joking and laughing while clients waited quietly with worried looks on their faces, including us. After an hour an a half they put us in a small office with the air conditioning blasting and client immigration forms and files, names exposed sitting on the desk in front of us. (so much for attorney-client confidentiality). We continued to wait without a single complaint, hoping we would be meeting with the attorney soon, so I prepared the papers I was going to show him. After 20 minutes in the office I peeked out of the door and I told one of the female employees we had to leave unless we met with the attorney soon. She told us it was still going to be a while. So I told her we had to leave. On our way out we ran into the attorney Sanjay Sobti standing in the hallway. I told him I just wanted to let him know that I'm also in the legal field so I understand scheduling conflicts, but an hour and a half wait with yet a longer time to wait was ridiculous and we had to leave. His reaction to my comment: he leaned into my face and said: "I'm done with you! Bye!" His purple-haired pajama-wearing assistant then came out of nowhere and followed my husband and I down the stairs yelling at us to leave. I don't know if I was more shocked by her appearance out of nowhere or the sudden forceful and aggressive behavior by the attorney and his minions. I've worked in the legal profession since 2004. I've interacted with aggressive lawyers, grumpy judges and demanding clients. But this was a surprising, unsolicited and bizarre knee-jerk aggressive reaction. This was complete unprofessional and borderline abusive behavior by attorney Sanjay Sobti. Be warned. Looks like the attorney is overwhelmed and can snap at any peep out of his clients. read more

We ate very disappointed with this "Law firm" They lead us on saying that the were going to help my husband with a case affirming us that they would take a criminal case off my husbands records so he would be able to file a petition to get his permanent residency through immigration, this was all a lie first of all the assured us that his case wouldn't take more than 4 months they began his case in August of2016 and they just went before a judge on 6/12/2017 and after all this waiting the tell us that the judge didn't want to take this off his case and for these lousy services they charged us 3500!!!! This law firm is a joke. I paid over $4,000 & was declined my green card & was served with an order to leave the country BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKES ON MY APPLICATION & PAPERWORK. They had so many mistakes on my paperwork & information that didnt match up. They were impossible to speak to on the phone. When i would call with my own phone theg stopped taking my calls completely & when i would call from other phones they would tell me the attorney wasn't available or put me on hold forever. This law firm is completely trash. They cant file paperwork correctly HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS. In the interview they "prepare" you but told me to not take ANYTHING with me. They instructed me to lie during the interview about a lot of details. Absolute trash & a waste of money. They should be ashamed of themselves taking money from the desperate but not helping at all!!
