Plenty of ripe berries last week of June!
Ai Vy N.

Our favorite place to visit in the summer! Excellent berries for a pretty decent price (if you're good at stacking/balancing thing, it'd be even better value lol)! I love to pick all kinds of fresh fruits, sometime even the inedible ones lol, so learning about this place first from Yelp, then 1 of my coworkers definitely hyped me up. We came the first time as a family. Everyone grabbed their own bucket and just combine them at the end. The trick here is to not get too excited, try to be picky/selective instead. I thought it would take us at least 20-30mins to fill the large bucket up with blueberries. Boys was I wrong lol. Between myself and my mil, we were done within 10mins the first time lol. Learning from our first experience, toward the end of the season, we were able to take home the biggest and juiciest blueberries which lasted a good couple weeks in the fridge. Obviously they're know for blueberries, but they also have blackberries and strawberries to pick during the same season. The selection seems to change by the season, but for sure the summer is the best time to come for those wonderful berries!

Strawberries and blueberries and blackberries

Loved this whole experience and everyone we met were super friendly and amazing prices. Would recommend for anyone especially for a cute date.

What a perfect summer activity to do. We love this place and their blueberries and strawberries are so delicious. Love the staff super friendly and they're so knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you have never been here or just visiting.

Great place to come and experience blueberry harvesting. There isn't an entrance fee. You pay $8 for a 12oz bucket. They have a station where you get your own bucket size. Great place to come and enjoy. Open from 9 to 4 pm.

Ripe for picking!

So much fun picking delightfully big and blue blueberries! They have the cutest pails and the cash register workers were the sweetest. Now we have plenty of blueberries for muffins and pancakes. We will be back again!

Hooray for blueberries! We love it here so much. The kids have an absolute blast picking & eating berries. The rows are well kept and it's easy to move down them. Everyone grabs a bucket, but we usually only wind up filling a large one (the kids end up getting distracted eating the berries, chasing after lizards or playing with the rolly pollys). It's probably better that way, though, or we'd wind up with way too many berries! The blueberries are organic and they do grow a small variety. All the employees are very nice and helpful. They have a few porta potties and a nice little area with some picnic benches if you want to bring a lunch. They also have a small patch of strawberries you can pick. Follow them on social media to stay updated with fun activities they have for the kids!

This review is overdue, especially since blueberry season is now over. But, we had just a good time I wanted to share my thoughts for anyone considering going next season. As I have noted in other reviews, I have a thing for you-pick farms. I've dragged...um...taken my son picking for chestnuts, strawberries, apples, cherries, olallieberries, etc. When he was younger, he loved to do it. Now that he is older, he finds it less fun. But, we still go. As far as I know, there aren't many you-pick blueberry farms in California, which is too bad. Unlike blackberries, you don't have to worry about getting pricked or snagged by anything. And unlike cherries, all the fruit is within reach. This farm is about a 7 minute drive from highway 101. It makes a perfect place to stop for anyone traveling between LA and the SF Bay Area. The berries are sweet and plentiful and the workers are friendly. If you follow them on Facebook, they post their specials. Towards the end of the season, their prices come down (at least they did this year). We went twice this season and paid $17 for the big bucket the first time and $25 for two buckets the second time. Which both feels like a deal and also like I overpaid, if that makes sense. Either way, I'm sure we'll be back next year.

This place is so fun! I am so glad this place exists. It's something fun to do with the family. They have different size bucket options and strawberries too. Some weekends they have other stuff for the kids too. Bounce house, cotton candy, hotdogs, and bucket decorating. The berries are tasty and they don't spray poisons so you can taste while you pick. There are different varieties too. We will definitely be back!

Drive all the way from LA to pick these lovely beauties. Not only are they beautiful, but they are super sweet! Definitely coming back for more strawberries and hopefully blueberries.

Yum. $17 bucket of no spray blueberries.

My wife won a Talley Box through work. Very easy to redeem. Called up, gave our gift certificate…read morenumber and then was told we were on the list. Our pickup was downtown Atown, Lemos. I was greeted and told to sign the clipboard and grab a box. Super Easy. When I arrived home I found mostly local, beautiful produce. Everything was in great shape! I had to have one of these huge strawberries and they were great! Intense Strawberry Flavor! Super juicy and super delicious. I had some of the broccoli and it also was great. Great fresh, snap, and deep broccoli taste. I saw online the box cost $52 and if you go to a store, you'll see that's a deal. Wonderful for families and even single people who don't have time. Great Product! *On a personal note, I wish they had it totally customizable. I personally don't want any GMO produce, none* *The Grover Beach Strawberries (in a package), Leeks, Snap Peas, Lettuce and Broccoli had no NonGmo and no organic Labeling*

I wanted to wait several deliveries before reviewing these fabulous peeps!! So For my health and my…read moresons health we have started eating much more healthy inherited high cholesterol is a bitch!!! So changing up my entire diet was something i had no choice over i'm 100% positive the keto diet I was on nearly killed me. Actually keto made my cholesterol rise by over 100 points!! It helped my stomach issues but screwed my health and my cholesterol up to a dangerously high level. So bad that i felt sick all the time I was on Keto for over 9 months. So i turned my diet around to be based on fresh veggies, fruits lean protein and whole grains with healthy fats and lower carb. This delivery program they have has helped make the change painless because of the exceptional quality and variety. Local grocers here where i live mostly sell crap! It looks good but tastes bad and expensive for the small quantities you get. And truthfully has been sitting in storage for quite some time. I came across Talley farms by accident i was looking for a better provider besides Imperfect foods. Their quality and prices are insane now and not worth what they are charging and a lot of their produce is imported from mexico and other countries a lot of the time which is a no no we live in the Ag hub of the country! So when i found Talley i loved that they only have local produce, Fresh picked, organic and in season! And i must say my god the difference in taste of farm fresh produce cannot be compared to store bought!! Even with something as simple as grapes right off the vine GASM!! Gorgeous fruits and veggies from this awesome group of farms!! They are the sweetest people!! They respond quickly to your emails and every delivery is correct! They send recipes and ideas for what your box will contain every week which i Love!! You can also replace things you don't want with other items or extra of something. You can also add additional in season fruits, veggies herbs etc from the available list in your email. I needed extra lettuces for my guinea pigs one week and she graciously replaced my cauliflower with tons of beautiful red little gem lettuces!!! I know most people don't get excited about produce but i'm telling you when i open my boxes from them i'm excited as hell Lol!! I am gushing about them because i truly believe they've got something great here and i'm so thankful i found out about them! We all need to clean our diets up to feel better and live longer and they help make it easier. I still have my luscious cheat meals occasionally but honestly the changes i've made has helped me feel so much better health wise and i know i'll be here longer for my sons ;) Talley farms Rocks!!!
