Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with HHG Movers. The most egregious problems: carelessness…read morewhile packing and transporting our belongings, the uncooperative attitude and conduct of the crew and a significant lack of concern and respect in resolving several damaged items. The crew rushed packing and loading, resulting in dropped boxes and severely damaged furniture. HHG Movers packed heavy pans atop china and crystal and loaded heavy boxes on top of those marked "fragile." A $1200 writing desk was carelessly flipped over by one crew member, breaking a brace and bending a drawer rail beyond repair. When confronted, he labelled it "light damage" and implied the desk was previously damaged. It was not. Repairs are impossible, yet HHG Movers refuses to pay full replacement despite insurance, offering a fraction of the total cost for all damaged items and demanding a non-negotiable settlement. There was no communication regarding how the weather could and did impact the move. HHG Movers refused to unload on a clear day, instead unloading the next day in torrential rain. They had to be specifically directed to provide floor protection and unloaded heavy boxes in incorrect locations, ignored labels. We were forced to hire local help to move boxes upstairs, resulting in additional costs. I sincerely advise you to avoid HHG Movers. We learned too late that they are not members of the American Trucking Association which provides some consumer protections.

They were available during my time frame and quoted me a more than fair price. They had another job earlier in the day, but we're in constant contact with me about the agreed upon arrival time. They arrived on time, and finished the unload efficiently, and within the time allotted. They were super friendly, and were eager to go above and beyond expectations. I would not hesitate to use them the next time I move, and will recommend Alex and Loadoff everytime.

If I could give negative stars I would....Horrible!! I got ripped off. Showed up smoking weed in…read morethe street. I paid for packing supplies and they said they didn't have any. By the time someone showed up with it most of my items were already on the truck. All but one piece of furniture was damaged! Called to complain was asked to send pictures... Never got a call back. Paid $500 to have all my stuff ruined for a 2 hour move 6 miles away!! Will be taking them to small claims court!!
