I had a very bad experience with this rental business - one of the worst service/retail experiences…read moreI've ever had. I had a one-way, one day car rental from the Bay Area to Klamath Falls. I called a week before to ask about their hours and was told that they close at 4pm which was earlier than my 24 hr rental, so to simply drop off the key in the box outside. The person on the phone (male) sounded very pleasant. I pre-paid for my rental, used the car and returned it per his instructions. It was more difficult than I expected because when I got to the airport at 6pm, it was empty (it's tiny) and the business address was for a different building than where the drop box was, but the cab driver that picked me up showed me where it was and that was that. But, no - it wasn't... Two weeks after returning the car and putting the key&paperwork in the drop box, I noticed that Budget had charged me an additional $304.82. I called them and was told that the Klamath Falls location had put the return date as 2 days later, making it a 3 day rental instead of a 1 day rental. No big deal - mistakes happen. I put in a claim to get it adjusted and, again, that was that. But, no - it wasn't... Another two weeks went by and the money hadn't been returned, so I called again and was told that the claim had been rejected. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me that the Klamath Falls location confirmed that the car had been returned after 3 days, not 1. This is where things got really weird and really, really frustrating. I called the Klamath Falls location and spoke to the employee (Samantha) that INSISTED that I had a) left the car after 1 day but b) not brought the key back until 2 days later. ???????? She told me that she had checked the box several times during those 2 days and that the key had miraculously shown up after 3 days. By the way, I had been on a month-long backpacking trip so had not been checking my accounts regularly and found out about the mistake when an automatic deduction had bounced and sent my bank account into a complete mess. All in all, it took several weeks to convince Budget corporate that her claims were completely unfounded. I had to send in a receipt from the cab company to prove I hadn't left in the rental car (which wasn't really the issue, was it?) and to talk to several people and spend several hours on the phone before it was resolved. The manager of the Klamath Falls location (Mark) obviously did not take my problem seriously or treat it as important. It took him several days (I think 5) to get in touch with me and when I finally spoke to him (me calling him for the 20th time) he told me that he believed me but "had to believe his employee too" and that "there wasn't anything he could do for me". I don't know how you can believe two people that are saying conflicting things, but he was totally unconcerned with their mistake and all of the trouble it cost me - their unimportant client. This was all very frustrating and just got solved yesterday. I will never use Budget or Avis (same company) again and I would like to warn everyone to NEVER use this terrible location for their business. The woman that works there is a liar and the manager is totally ineffective. Terrible, terrible service.

I had my unit on auto bill pay and the card expired, the staff didn't give me a courtesy call or a…read morenotice until it was past due 60 days at which point I received a lien/pre auction notice. I called the front desk to make a payment and during the call the woman at the desk became very defensive when I mentioned I would prefer to receive a notice prior to the lien notice (state requirement is to be notified prior to this). She became very emotional and was upset I stated I felt the lack of any attempt to reach me was "lazy" at which point she tried to bait me into an argument which I had no interest in talking to her aside from running my card. When I told her as much she hung up on me. I called back to pay the bill and she started to berate me on the phone and refused to accept the payment. Since the unit is in lien she is required to take my money to prevent unlawful sale of my unit. I called a third time and just asked to speak to someone else, I got the phone number of the manager Barry who was off duty and called him. Eventually I reached him and was able to just give him the card information without the drama. I just wanted to pay for my unit on auto bill pay and to receive notice of some kind prior to them trying to auction my unit. THIS IS EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, literally the worst I have seen from a storage facility. This lady should be fired, her sole purpose is to conduct transactions. Just run my card and take my money, I shouldn't have to interact with a horrible associate to make this happen. I shouldn't have to contact the manager who is off duty and not on site. Other than that I've had a pretty uneventful rental here. Unit is dry and my stuff isn't under any threat except form going to auction unnecessarily. 0/5 stars for the detestable lazy staff that want to argue instead of conduct business. Really poorly run if they keep her around. They charge way too much money for me to put up with this nonsense.

Sooo extremely great full for the help we received. First time renting an RV and after the first…read morenight the pop up tent portion broke. First problem was human error on our part and was rectified. Second part was able to be fixed with some good old out of the box thinking so it can be used for the rest of our trip, and the last part is on the fault of the RV rental company, part that should have been serviced long ago and not rented out till it was. So that is something that I will be passing along. 100% recommend this company. Would recommend to others in the RV world for a service that didn't take a week to be able to assist. The bad. Reserved a cargo van. Got the app per their recommendation. Got the "ding" that my…read morereservation was made. When I looked at the reservation, it was for a truck! NOT what I reserved. Had to call to get that fixed, but it was after hours so I spoke with "central". Thankfully, they corrected the error, but consequently, it changed my departure time . Picked up the van and was told the wipers need to be replaced, but they don't have any replacements. "Wipers still work, though", the guy said. It was raining. The wipers pushed the rain as needed, but when the rain stopped ... all I had were smears across the windshield. Not good. Tried to call Moscow U-haul for advice and they said , "the van is new, wipers should be good". Wrong answer!!!!! Ended up having to call u-haul roadside assistance to get the wipers replaced. Poor guy had to drive almost two hours in new snow to get to me. Grateful for the service and new wipers cuz I experienced a rain storm a few hours later while driving. The good. Cargo van was a perfect size for my needs and drove smoothly for the almost 2000 miles. 2023 make, so had all updated features, etc. Easy vehicle return as well. Recommendations, check reservation confirmation right away, so that it matches with what you requested. Take the time to inspect the rental and complete the "questionnaire" before departing, cuz it does expire.

The driver's door was smashed in about six inches and the window broken out. The repair to make it a pretty truck would have cost me well over the value of the truck. Kevin understood my dilemma and got me a used door, put many hours into the frame indentation repair, and got the truck to be functional again for a very reasonable price. He and his staff have very good hearts, and it shows. I have also observed the quality of work that they have done on other high quality vehicles (including a Benefit for the Basin truck) and can assure you that they do very good work.
