But once they saw the cost, the story changed. Suddenly, I was told they'd need to go through their insurance--and that I'd have to get a second estimate. To make matters worse, they refused to provide their insurance information or take further responsibility, despite acknowledging the damage. Here's what's most frustrating: 1. I'm a full-time student--I came here expecting a quick 5-minute car wash and left with $1,500 in damage caused by their equipment. 2. I followed their instructions exactly and provided one estimate as asked. 3. I'm a long-time customer with a full-service unlimited wash plan. Is this really how you treat loyal customers? 4. Despite the damage being obvious and well-documented, I was forced to spend time filing a police report, chasing down estimates, and dealing with a complete lack of resolution. All was fine for a few weeks- no change in cars.... Suddenly, without explanation, a worker appears at my window and insists that the new policy is to remove all hitches from trucks and SUVs. Interesting because I had been through this thing numerous times as well as other car washes and in fact, my family also owned one years ago and this has never been an issue. Additionally, my hitch has a lock on it so there's no way it was going anywhere. no one offered to replace it after they took it off and there was no way for me to leave the line and abandoned the errand that morning. Fast-forward a few days later and I try to get my car washed during early business hours and it's closed. I try again later that day again during business hours and again it's closed. I guess the idea is to take your credit card and charge it but not to provide the service. Final comment, it's a tight squeeze when you come out and you try to get your vehicle set up near a vacuum. People plop themselves down right where the bay lets out the cars. PS: The owner and his wife also own HARRIGANS PUB and let's just say neither one is especially friendly or place much of an emphasis on customer service. I'd suggest PJs on 35 in Wall. I have two big dogs and of course it can take over 30 minutes to vacuum, clean the leather, wipe the windows and clean the doors etc etc when you are doing it by yourself but for employee Edward to say you need to hurry it up I am about to get a rush is hella rude especially when there were maybe 5 cars every 15 minutes if that and only one other person using the vacuum on side of the entrance to the car wash. Long story short I left there without being able to wipe the dash and other things due to trying to avoid conflict with this duche bag. Will not being going back here again....
