This place is really pretty dumpy. I can't tell if it's self-service or full-service but their self service part had hoses that had holes in them and were squirting soap all over the place except on the car. $1.50 get you about two minutes worth of water. Great service.... Clean, fast, friendly... It was only $4 for a hand wash and dry... We went with the whole thing - vacuum, clean interior, they even did the jambs!!! This was only $14.... I highly recommend! read more

***The following is not even remotely an exaggeration*** Your vehicle is better left dirty. This is the perfect example of a business that thrives on tourist business that will use its service once and never return. When the "owner" (according to her) gave me the typical no eye contact, obligatory "how'd we do" while taking my money, I told her they really hadn't done that great of a job; that there were several places on the vehicle that hadn't even been touched by soap and sponge leaving the car looking like it had clean spots. Her literal response was that she wished people like me would vacation somewhere else and that if I was having a bad day I shouldn't take it out on her! Huh? All that was missing from the interaction was her saying "God bless you" and the circle of deflection would have been complete. Incidentally, a local with SC plates pulled up prior to entering the wash and super politely asked the owner if they could do a better job this time cleaning the bugs from the windshield and grill. She said "yeah" turned her back on his still open window and began to tell one of the towel dry guys what and idiot the guy was! Don't patronize this place. This business in the middle of your hometown instead of the beach would be dead in a month. read more

Myrtle Beach Dealsaver. $20 for hand wash, hand wax and tire shine. I understand this is not a detail job, just a quick wash and wax. I bought this for an out for town guest. But...for $30, yes $30, $10 extra because it was a truck (Tacoma) and that's a big truck (sarcastically), I would expect the mud flaps to be clean. See photo. read more

i saw their ad in the Sun about Vet 1/2 off Tuesdays. For $10.00 I got a wash that would have taken me all morning to do. Two guys worked their butts off for a good 20 minutes - hand wash, wax?, dry, tires, interior, vacuum, jams - 7 year old Acura looks brand new. I'll be back every week or two from now on. Did not tip enough. Some of reviews are rough, Didn't find anything negative - try it, you'll it!! read more

I usually like to wash my car myself but being on vacation, not really practical. My car and interior are black, and had just about everything splashed/splattered somewhere to be cleaned, so it looked pretty horrendous.. The Typhoon crew did a really good job at getting my car back to a presentable condition. I did have to spot clean a few minor areas that were untouched, and do my windows over for missed spots, but that could also be me expecting it to be done as I would have done it myself. On vacation from PA and we ended up with ants deciding to make a home in our truck! We drive back home tomorrow and knew that we had to get this under control before going back north. Typhoon was SO kind and helpful and knew exactly where to spray and wash to deter the ants from continuing their move-in! They went above and beyond to help us wash the buggers away! We will get ant spray and use that on the tires and inside the doors but this was a great start to what could have been a big problem. Thanks Typhoon! read more

I use this wash on a relatively regular basis. They do a good job for the most part. However, they no longer have any type of temporary wax to bring out the shine in your car. That alone is a reason I would no longer go there. With that shine, your car surfaces are more slippery, meaning that bugs and other things won't stick to it for a couple of weeks afterwards. As well as looking better after rain. Even though their hand wash and drying is good, and they can treat the tires to make them shiny, they are falling behind every other car wash in that temporary waxing area. read more
