They started me on peptides, and we have been doing adjustments and trigger point injections once a week. It is never perfect recovery as anyone with Ehlers Danlos knows, but I feel that they are always trying to think of other alternatives to try to get the persistent inflammation and muscle strain under control. Well, that's pretty much what happened after I started seeing Dr. Adam at Behm Muscle and Joint clinic. My sister and brother in law have been seeing Dr. Adam for awhile and now that I have insurance that covers chiropractic care I felt like I had nothing to lose when I was thinking about chiropractic care. Setting up an appointement and filling out the necessary paperwork was a breeze. The clinic website has it set up where you can fill out most of the information online and I think I may have had to sign a few things when I got there but I honestly don't remember because once I started seeing him my muscle pain went away. He starts out asking you a few questions and then determines what the best way to treat you is. At Behm Muscle & Joint I have now had my back adjusted, learned new stretches to help my shoulders and back, had dry needling done and he even scraped my muscles with this medal instrument that looks painful but it wasn't that bad. I love that Dr. Adam goes beyond just adjusting your back, he gives me exercises and stretches to do at home, reminds me how much water I need to drink every day and is always checking in to make sure I'm not feeling pain during my appointment. I have recommended him to one of my friends as well and I know she is finally feeling relief. Dr. Adam and his staff are friendly and welcoming. They don't over schedule here and you will be seen within a few minutes. Since the physical is only required every 3 years they are always calling a few weeks ahead of time to remind you to renew. This time the doc was the only one there and he took care of all the paperwork as well, so it seems like a well run and team oriented office. They also do acupuncture and chiropractic work here as well which I have not yet utilized.

I'm sharing this review because I'm so happy with Dr. Jamie Van Roeckel. It was my first time…read morevisiting a chiropractor and had no choice because of a terrible pinched nerve in my neck that was causing horrible pain and a headache. Dr. Roeckel took x-rays and asked me to come back later that day to discuss. I was so happy he had time to see me the same day because I really needed relief for my pain. When I came back, we discussed the x-rays and a course of treatment for the neck and upper spine issues he found. Then he adjusted me. My neck feels better, then headache is gone, but I can still feel a residual pain which he said will happen. He asked me to come back tomorrow morning (although they are normally closed on Fridays) so he can adjust me again before the weekend. I can tell Dr. Roeckel cares about his patients and he immediately put me at ease. I'm looking forward to working with him in the next month for my treatment.

My review is for the current doctor practicing at this location (Dr. Nilles). Funny enough, I went…read moreto Dr. Clark before seeing Dr. Nilles because I didn't feel better with him. So I go to this location (North location) because it's closer to my house. Recently I found out that I was charged double for my last treatment so I went there to ask about it. The first response I got from the person that charged my card (and I believe is handling their accounting side) was that the transaction wasn't exist in their system. Dr Nilles and his wife were away that week so they told me that they will ask them for this charge when they're back and that they will give me a call. The following week, I had to go to the location myself to get answers. I was treated poorly (because I wasn't there to get treatment). The same person made me wait for over 15 minutes just to admit that they did charged me double and that they have credit me back the $$ in my account. I wasn't happy with it because basically she lied to me at the beginning, and instead of trying to explain & apologizing for what happened, she made me wait that long with my kids and treated me differently while doing so. She wasn't even showing any respect to me or being apologetic about the whole situation. I was disappointed with Dr. Nilles for the way he handle my complaint as well, he thought just by crediting me back the $$, everything is good. And the worse of all, is that NOT a single apology came from either of them. I maybe just a customer that comes in once a month, but I believe I deserve to be treated the same way like any other customers. It's not about the $$ but it's about taking responsibility for the integrity of your employees and how you take care of customer outside of the treatment room. Will never coming back!
