I made reservations for here 3 1/2 weeks beforehand. Then the morning BF and I were supposed to…read morehave dinner here they email us saying our reservation was cancelled and "it's out of their control". What? Did you have a sudden fire? We had the front desk of the hotel we were staying at call for us and the restaurant said they "were full" which is why they couldn't keep our reservation, but we could come at 21:00. I do not want to eat dinner at 21:00. How can you cancel my reservation when I made it WEEKS ago??? I was pretty enraged, and I never get mad. So we go at 21:00 because we've been really looking forward to this place. We were sat immediately and given English menus, which I didn't realize they had, so that was a bonus. They brought water with our drinks. Then we got our wine. For appetizers I ordered the peppered artichokes stuffed with norie watercress and mushrooms and BF ordered razor shell clams and roasted asparagus. The artichokes were not as soft as I was expecting, but it wasn't a bad thing. For the main meal I had the mushroom ravioli and BF got the sea bass with foie gras. The ravioli had coconut foamed milk that completely covered the ravioli. It was so... foamy! Lots of bubbles in my mouth. I really liked it. The sea bass and foie gras was very good also. Then came the cheese, which, I mean, cheese is awesome always. They brought out a large cart of many different kinds and we were allowed to pick as man as we wanted. Then for dessert was both had the bar of jivara chocolate mousse with apple ice and hazelnuts. Yes it was as great as it sounds. There was another room next to us hosting a large group of maybe 50 or so people, but we didn't hear them too much through the glass wall. The servers were nice. The wine was good. I just cannot get over the reservation thing. I mean, how just rude. The food and service though was great and the view of the ocean was lovely.
