We had an absolutely amazing time with Captain Bryan and his first mate James! These people know exactly what they're doing, and they will try absolutely everything to get you something on the line - you also a learn a TON about fishing and the various, special techniques they use to catch the fish. We caught 2 big fish within the first 30 minutes, and a MASSIVE amberjack within the first hour! The captain is also so incredibly nice, considerate, and funny, and his first mate James is equally so. They were super welcoming, considerate, and absolutely professional throughout the entire trip. The boat is also in excellent condition (bonus there is a restroom!) so you can feel comfortable while you fish. On my adventures with various charter boats (including Kelly's fishing fleet), I can say without a doubt in my mind that this is the best charter experience I have ever had, and I'm a native Floridian. Captain Bryan was fantastic, the guy just knows where the fish are. We have been on many manyyyy of the well known charters in the area but this time was just different. We had my 8year old nephew with us and captain just was all about making it fun wether the fish got off the hook or we caught it. and for us adults besides the fishing part, just hearing all the awesome stories he has made it that much cooler of a day. Captain Bryan is unprofessional and unreliable. We booked a charter with him for our anniversary and after receiving multiple confirmations and paying a $250 deposit he stood us up the morning of the charter. It was extremely disappointing. Little late in posting this! So My girlfriends and I booked a trip to Miami Beach for our friend's bachelorette party, there was 14 of us total. Finding a boat in Florida while in California, to accomadate a group of 14 girls was difficult and the boats that could take us were thousands of dollars. We got in contact with "Captain Bryan" who suggested that we do a double boat trip, in other words, 2 boats following each. I was a little skeptical at first but Captain Bryan and Captain Jose were very professional and on time, we instantly felt comfortable around them. 7 of us on the boat Bella Dojhia ( it has blue lights under the boat itself that look amazing at night) and 7 on the other boat, La Fiesta and we off to the famous Haulover Sanbar Party that we had heard so much about. Wow, is all I can say, I have never seen a boat party like this! It was craziness, big boats, litlle boats, jetskis; everywhere people are dancing, hanging out and eating. Captain Bryan navigated through the chaos to the best spot for us, he actually got off the boat and pulled it through endless boats to get us to shallow water. Then Captain Bryan and Captain Jose walked in the other boat and tied them together. It was perfect! We were able to go to the Sandbar Party for under our budget for that day which was $1400 or $100/girl. Thank you Captain Bryan for convincing us to do the double boat charter, showing us a great time, pouring us countless shots and keeping us safe. But that's not the end, Captain Bryan even arranged a VIP table at LIV nightclub for us on Sunday night which was epic. I would definetly recommend Twysted Lyfe Charters to anyone looking to go on a party charter or boat ride. Ive been going on Fishing and Spearfishing trips in Miami, the Bahamas, and abroad with captain Bryan for many years now and some of my most memorable experiences on the water have been under his guidance. I have taken many species firsts with captain Bryan on the Bella Dohjia, including Yellowtail Snapper and Blackfin Tuna as well as some of my biggest fish. My largest hogfish to date was taken with a pole spear, on a weekend Expedition to the Bahamas. Captain Bryan has been fishing and diving the waters in and around Miami for along time and knows his way around. We booked a private half day charter with Twysted Lyfe Charters via their website. We paid the deposit, immediately received 3 confirmation emails (one for payment, and two with further instructions - one in English, one in Spanish), and received a separate text message and email confirmation the day before the trip. We woke up at 6 AM on a Saturday morning and arrived at the marina for our 7 AM half day charter to find no captain. When we called to see where we could find him, he told us that he was on a different trip and had no idea we had booked him. After telling him we booked through his website, paid the deposit, and received multiple confirmation messages, he told us he never sent us a "personal confirmation" via text. Apparently the other 5 confirmations we received didn't count. He lacks professionalism and was extremely inconsiderate; he wasted our time and money. We weren't able to get out on another boat. read more
