Lavargna Law - Tony Lavargna and Carrie Lavargna

Lavargna Law

(18 reviews)

Myself and my husband, John recently relocated from Maryland. We were in search of a GOOD, HONEST…read morereal estate attorney. Our real estate agent referred us to Lavargna Law. Our initial consultation was with Tony Lavargna......He was pleasant, professional, courteous.....our conversation felt comfortable. He was also very patient in explaining, page by page, the details of everything and told us to feel free to call him if we have questions. We're grateful to have found this amazing law firm and look forward to a long relationship with the firm/Tony. If you're looking for a professional real estate law firm who knows what they're doing and who will treat you with respect & kindness, this is the firm!! WE THANK YOU TONY!!!! Cynthia & John

I don't know what to think about this place. It's not very positive though, and I will certainly…read morenot be taking my business here. The website advertises the services of Carrie Lavargna, Esq. who has "over 40 years of legal experience" and touts her extensive background with specific law reviews and professorships from various esteemed schools. I called to make an appointment to set up our family trust specifically with Ms. Lavargna and gave the secretary all of our information, told her clearly what our needs were and that I was looking forward to meeting with Ms. Lavargna because she had the experience that satisfied our requirements. Here's the thing though, the secretary kept saying things like: I can get you an appointment with "him" and when you sit down with "him"... I stopped her and asked her who is this "him"? The secretary told me that our appointment would be with the SON as Ms. Lavargna had retired or was in the process of retiring or something. The son, Tony, graduated from law school in 2016 and specializes in real estate apparently. That's all great and good but I want a trust Attorney who's had 30+ years of experience and specializes in trusts, not real estate. Even if he's done some wills and trusts, yay for him, I still want a strongly seasoned attorney. It just seemed very strange to me that the girl took all my information, heard what I wanted and then tried to push me in to an appointment with someone else who did not fit the qualifications or the specific expertise that we as clients are going to pay for. It seemed like we were being redlined into dealing with him. The fact that I had to ask the secretary directly who she was pairing me up with and she that didn't offer the information upfront makes me think that maybe the son isn't all that popular and that maybe the only way that he can get business is for the secretary to make appointments with him by leading people to believe that they are meeting with the mother. Why wouldn't she have said something like "Carrie is retiring so is it okay if you meet with her son who is also an attorney?". Kind of bait and switchy, it just felt weird. So yeah the advertised attorney with 40+ years of experience in trusts and lots and lots of accolades, that person doesn't even work there anymore. You would be meeting with a young attorney with limited experience who specializes in real estate deals. If that's what you want that's great, but it's not what we're looking for and they should've let me know instead of trying to steer us into an appointment with someone that clearly did not fit our parameters.

Law Offices of Randall A. Fischer, P.A. - Lawyer Stuart FL

Law Offices of Randall A. Fischer, P.A.

I learned exactly how lucky I was to have hired Randall Fischer as my attorney at my trustee…read morehearing. He protected all of my assets, and I was relieved of all debt. The process was quick, stress free and painless, thanks to the careful work he put into my case before filing. He will not move forward if there are any red flags or problems such as paying back one creditor more than another. He and his paralegal, Marsha Bonin, met with me the day before my hearing, reviewed the whole procedure with me, held a practice question and answer session, and let me know everything to expect. He arrived in plenty of time, sat with me while waiting, and we were both perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, I was the only person with an attorney there who had done this. Every other attorney in the room had an armful of files. They were shuffling up to four clients at a time (some didn't recognize their clients), and all the things my attorney had reviewed with me the day before, they were trying to cram down the throats of their clients in this packed room or in the overflow of the hallway in front of God and everyone. One poor client was given a reaffirmation agreement for their mortgage and had to decide in less than five minutes whether they should sign it or not. They had to ask which of their mortgages it was for! Their attorney didn't have time to explain it properly as he had to talk to another client in the waiting room. Two people had an attorney who had hired someone else to take his place at the meeting. That attorney hadn't shown up with only fifteen minutes left prior to their appointment and to my knowledge never did. Another couple had their appointment time come and go, without their attorney being present. The contrast between the service provided to me by Randall Fischer and that being provided by other attorneys to their clients in that over packed room was shocking and revealing. It really pays to choose well when hiring your attorney. I would recommend Randall A. Fischer if you want your case to be well prepared and reviewed, your attorney to provide you with attention and care, and as stress free an experience as possible. I had the best possible result, because he and his paralegal, Marsha Bonin, put in the hard work beforehand.

We hired Randy and when the case got difficult, he could not just tell us he was either too busy or…read morethe case was too complicated or out of his range. He just ignored all text s, phone calls and emails for nearly 3 weeks. We would've understood if he was just honest with us. We could've looked for an attorney sooner. We lost a lot of valuable time on our case. Ultimately, he gave us our money back, but that was not the point of our frustration.
