My experience with this attorney was extremely disappointing. The initial retainer and fees requested were many times higher than I reasonably expected for the matter involved. I felt blindsided by the size of the deposit and never believed the value provided justified the amount charged. Throughout the process, I became increasingly concerned that billing seemed to take priority over client service and results. As a business owner who regularly works with professionals across many industries, I understand the importance of paying for expertise. However, there is a significant difference between fair compensation and what I experienced here. In my opinion, the constant focus on fees made him seem like a blood-sucking attorney. Based on my experience, I would not hire this attorney again, nor would I recommend him to friends, family, or business associates. Before retaining this firm, I strongly suggest obtaining a detailed written fee agreement, understanding exactly what services are included, and comparing costs with other qualified attorneys. I left the engagement feeling that the fees charged were excessive and not commensurate with the value received. read more

We had to hire an attorney to defend us in a cultivation of cannabis and possession with intent to distribute. Jeff gorman was recommended and we hired him. This was a case were the marijuana was being cultivated in the master bedroom closet and our stuff was in the room. The neighbors identified us as the residents. this was not an easy case to win. Jeff over the course of the case was able to formulate a defense that when taken to trial produced a NOT GUILTY verdict. Needless to say Jeff is the man who gets it done and does not just take your money then try to plea your case. Jeff will take your life as serious as you do and fight like a cornered cat to WIN your case. I was amazed to watch him as the trial progressed he is without a doubt a master of the game. BEWARE of Jeff T. Gorman!!! I have to give him 1 star to post a review, but he deserves ZERO! I contacted multiple ex-clients of his with the same unfortunate results. Once he has your money he will not do his job to fight for you! Jeff Gorman currently has multiple complaints with the Florida Bar. He and his associate Chris Walsh will tell you everything you want to hear, but once they are paid, they don't care about you or your freedom. These guys are conmen who work for the state. Our system is corrupt and broken and crooked attorneys like these two are part of the problem.
