The pork belly had a nice crispy texture on the outside while staying tender and juicy on the inside. Pairing it with sticky rice is a must--it really brings everything together. I've also become a big fan of the Lao-style omelette. As someone who loves eggs, this version just hits different and complements every dish on the table. It's the first thing I look for now in every new Loa spot. I definitely didn't mind the liquor store right next door. Got me a nice cold one to go with my Friday cheat meal for dinner. Just made the whole experience even better. Pro tip: I would call ahead to place an order. Took about 30mins but luckily I had errands to run so no big deal.

As a heads up, the deviled chicken has a kick to it, and even the veggie rice has a little bit of heat.. I would guess that the white rice would be milder. I was able to try a sample of the curry chicken, and it was a much milder flavor. All of it was quite good though, and I will definitely go back.

We had two bowls: the first one was beef on a bed of vegetable fried rice with two sides of eggplant and green beans; the second one was chicken curry on a bed of ghee rice with two sides of tempered potatoes and daal (lentils) -- both bowls were truly tasty -- and rather different from the usual Asian flavors we're commonly used to. We also had a rice paper like bowl, almost like a tortilla shell that came with a bowl of chicken curry and a condiment of pickled onion, which was also good. The ambience was neat and clean, and the service was top notch. No clue why they rented such a huge space! No complaints, only compliments -- thankful Wichita had landed another unique destination for food lovers.

I've always heard the food is good and hubby and I finally remembered to try it out. They have two tables inside if you wanna eat there, but we decided to take ours home. I like how you can pick what you in your bowls or pita wrap. We got the Beef & Lamb Bowl and also the Chicken Shawarma Pita Wrap. The pita wrap seems small but it's packed with meat and whatever toppings you want. We loved both meat options and what I really loved were the sauces that compliment them--garlic sauce, chili sauce, tzatziki saice, and jalapeño & cilantro--can't go wrong with those sauces!

We were celebrating my father in laws birthday and the owner surprised us with a piece of fruit cream chiffon cake which was delicious. Lots of boba and drink options, appetizers and boils. He also makes and sells full sized cakes. The owner was so friendly and the food was made fresh at order.
