Exit Row Band - Exit Row Band - top rated NJ event band. Performs a mixture of classic rock with today's hits on the radio for Events and Concerts

They're a cover band that does a great mix of classic rock covers as well as new top 40 hits. What a great band! They were an absolute pleasure to deal with, everyone was extremely professional and on time. They took really short breaks and even played late because everyone was having so much fun. We had about 300 people and the dance floor was PACKED! All my guests were thrilled with their performance and didn't want it to end. If you're looking for high-quality music for a corporate event or a private function I highly recommend them!

This band performed hits from the 80s, 90s, 2000s, and now. If I was to summarize this type of playlist the band was performing, I would say "Hot Adult Contemporary". As soon as the attendees rolled into the event tent, the band started rocking away. They played a mixture of rock and pop hits throughout the entire event duration. That gave everyone the chance to view, listen, and even sing a long to their performances. What a way to bring great people together, Ed Z! The band was rocking so loud that we could even hear them outside when my friends and I went to the pumpkin patch and house to snap some photos. The original plan was for them to perform outside. But because of the rain, they had to perform inside. This weather-related change didn't hurt their spirit at all. In fact, they performed without even caring about the rain. This band no doubt has an edge over some of the other bands whom I encountered on my previous 25th cruise, which is based on their performance qualities and professionalism. Based on how they performed, it was quite easy for me to see and hear why they are always booked and only have a very limited amount of time for public events. For this case, the General Yelp Event was a private one. Overall, this is an excellent cover band, and probably the best one that I have ever heard. If you can catch them at a public event, then I recommend doing so. I also recommend booking them if you can.

Dancers were themed to our event, (I didn't even request that). We are a fun family that loves to dance, it was nice to know that Bill and the dancers weren't over bearing. The owner of the…read morebusiness, Bill Boettcher, told me less than 48 hours before my event that he would be sending a substitute when all along I was told it would be he at my event. All during the time before my event he was extremely difficult to reach but I let it go because my primary music was to be through the live band, who was fantastic. But there were reasons I also wanted a DJ and my reasons turned out to be valid. The DJ Bill ultimately sent was ok. the music was fine and really there was nothing in particular I needed to have the DJ do or to discuss with him so no complaints. But the motivator, as sweet as could be, did not seem to know her job. I had to tell her when to give out items and if I hadn't told her we would still be waiting. Only during the last hour did she do any kind of interaction with the kids. There were no games as I had been told there would be and items that were specifically ordered for my event, I never saw. All of this didn't leave me thrilled, but the worst was that I wrote to Bill after the event and let him know I just wanted to talk to him. I wasn't going to make too big a deal of it but I thought maybe the motivator was new and simply needed some guidance. I didn't hear back for a week and when I wrote again, I received a rather rude response admonishing me for not being more patient. He didn't like some of what I wrote in my second e-mail (which did indicate I was upset he hadn't responded yet)and indicated that was the only reason he was responding despite being so busy. Had he only written originally and asked me to wait until things quieted down I wouldn't be writing this. But he stated right out that he only responded to me because something upset him. Yet he didn't feel it important enough to answer me when I was upset, didn't feel it important enough to make sure things had gone well, and overall didn't think it important enough to provide good customer service. I don't know if things would have been better with a different motivator and if the owner had done my event, as originally planned. But he (Bill, the owner) is extremely difficult to reach when things are going well, and pretty much not at all unless he feels it is important. I would not use this company again.

By contrast a Christmas Song is of more recent vintage and can come from artists as broad as Paul McCartney, The Waitresses or Willie Nelson. Although, am I the only one who thinks Wonderful Christmastime by Sir Paul is pure cringe? Personally, I like the really old stuff because Christmas is all about nostalgia and besides it's what I grew up on and frankly there's nothing more wistful and haunting than the Holly and the Ivy played on ancient acoustic instruments or A Christmas Song by Nat King Cole accompanied by a solo piano. These classics will take you right back to that aluminum tree and everyone choking on Chesterfields and Kent's over dessert.... Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer... not so much. Anyway, break out the Victrola and have yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

I still love these Christmas favorites: "Silent Night," "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "Away in a Manger," "The First Noel," "Do You Hear What I Hear?" "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear," "O Holy Night," "Angels We Have Heard on High," and "Joy to the World." "The Twelve Days of Christmas," and "Feliz Navidad," and "Grandma Got Ryn Over by a Reindeer" absolutely grate on my last nerve. "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" is cool because Barenaked Ladies covered it in 2004, Bad Religion covered it in 2013, and my favorite cover of this song is a tie between Ronnie James Dio's and Rob Halford's! "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" is beautiful! Whatever your tastes, ancient, traditional, contemporary or praise band, raise a cup of hot cocoa to Christmas carols!

Jeff and his band were super-accommodating, discussing with us exactly what we wanted all within our budget. Moreover, having the Street Beat Brass Band as part of our celebration was, to us, what makes this great city of ours so unique and special--the delight on the faces of our wedding party, the NYPD, the Mr. Softee Ice Cream truck guy and all the people we encountered along the route over the bridge, in Dumbo and on the F and R train surpassed our expectations. Book these guys if you want to surprise and delight your guests at your next event and want to create a lasting impression.
