The quality of instruction was solid, but the way the gym was ran could be frustrating. Classes…read morewere frequently canceled with little or no notice--whether it's due to rain, the coach being sick, personal events, holidays, or sometimes no given reason at all. As a paying member, this was disappointing. Even if you don't attend every class, it's fair to expect the option to be there consistently, especially with a monthly membership. The facility itself is quite small, and it often got very loud due to the number of parents and spectators crowded around during class. It can be distracting and makes the environment feel a bit chaotic, especially when space is already limited. There's a lot of potential here, but better scheduling reliability, a clearer structure, and improved facility management would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience. Great Jiu Jitsu, but poor business practices from a consumer perspective.

Labyrinth Jiu Jitsu was a powerful experience. The quality of teaching is awesome, I learned so much! They are also incredibly kind, welcoming, accommodating and they have made a difference in my path! Plus, I had so much fun. So grateful to have found this place, I can't recommend it enough. Will be coming back when passing through again!

Hands down this is the best martial arts school in the area. Outstanding family environment focusing on character and moral development. The school is responsible for the training and success of some of local talent and other school owners. A couple of things I enjoy most is that people with egos and bad intentions do not last long here because they will not cater to it. The school makes it comfortable for even the most novice of student to the most experienced to learn and achieve their goals. They are extremely military friendly since their staff is either prior service, military family member or have served the community for multiple years. I recommend trying out one of their trials and see for yourself!

I really enjoy training with Professor Johnathan and the training family at Uzcategui Brazilian Jiu…read moreJitsu. If you are looking to better yourself mentally and physically I would highly recommend training at this academy. The Professor will push you to strive and be your best at this martial art as well as being prepared to defend yourself in difficult situations. I started training here at the end of January and to this day have seen a dramatic change in my appearance and my attitude toward different situations. I have lost a total of 36 Lbs. and 6 inches in my waist line. I feel great and have made some new friends along the way. I also have two kids that have started training as well and I can see a vast improvement in their attitudes and commitment to learning bjj. Knowing that one day if they have to use this for defense or to combat a situation is a very gratifying peace of mind to have. So if you are looking to get in shape physically and mentally or just have a backup plan if you get into a shady position, come check out Uzcategui Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I promise you won't regret it.

The self defense taught here is great for all ages. They have a good variety of classes offered like bjj, Muay tai, Mma, and strength training. My favorite thing about all Elite schools is the wrist band system. You wear the color wrist band of your choice to represent the intensity you want to spar at. That is great for beginners, injuries, or those who are preparing for a tournament. The reason I had to write a review for this school in particular from all the Elite schools is because of the facility. They have of course the large mat room, but also a room for weight training, and room for the actual cage! The cage room has hanging bags too! This school is overall great for anybody and offers many things that most schools don't. If I lived in the area I would definitely take advantage of the opportunities it offers and sign up for classes!
