This place was just ok for me. It got 3 stars from me due to the service. The waitress brought me a water to the table first and slammed it so hard on the table it jumped from the glass to me. I ordered a Diet Coke and almost finished my food and it still had not come. So I asked the hostess if my waitress quit! 10 minutes later I get my drink. Everything was undercooked. The pineapple upside down pancake was raw and doughy in several places the egg whites had other things in them and were the consistency of oatmeal. Made our first stop to the new Twisted Biscuit in Cape. Our meals were: Balla French Toast, Nashville Hot & Bodacious Pancakes. The person who had the Bella French Toast felt like fresh fruit would be a certain for the price, but they were not. The Bodacious Pancakes person was well satisfied with her's. As for the Nashville Hot, well the waffles were close to burned on one side and half the chicken was almost paper thin, more like thickness of bacon. This is my second time at the Twisted Biscuit and I have to say it only got better!!! Our sever Chris was amazing and for all the food we ordered it only took about 10-15 minutes. Twisted biscuit brings A new look to brunch and makes some really interesting food dishes compared to traditional brunch. The building looks really clean and new with plenty of parking and a really intuitive waitlist that is simple and efficient. When I first got seated I was told they only have zero coke as a diet substitute and was really disappointed by that. They even ran out of Coke Zero. I feel like having more options is always better than less. The prices are for the most part reasonable and cost about $25 to $30 for most meals on the menu. For the most part the inside is clean and is a great environment. I had went to the restroom to wash my hands and sadly they had no paper towels. I had a party of 2 with me when I went and the wait time to get our food was way longer than usual in most places. It took 50 from the time we sat to even get our food. We didn't get our order then until 10 min of sitting down. They have seats for tables in the middle and the chairs are just really hard wood seats. They are uncomfortable to say the least. Got my food and was just upset for the wait I waited and what I got. After waiting 45 min after order my food I get a sad piece of bacon and my sausage looks like it's old and dry. My pancake looks dirty like the batter was in a pan that was dirty. The eggs look fine with the potatoes. Over all just not satisfied with the food and how it looks. read more

Had brunch at Twisted Biscuit in Cape this weekend and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is fun and upbeat, and the staff was genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they were some of the best I've had -- fluffy biscuit with just the right amount of seasoning in the gravy. A friend tried the brunch burger and it was stacked high but still balanced in flavor. We also split an order of the bread pudding bites, which were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle -- perfect with the dipping sauce. Service was fast and friendly even though the restaurant was pretty full, and our coffee never ran empty. Prices felt fair for the quality and portions, and the menu had a lot of creative options you don't see everywhere. Went yesterday with my husband, Servers kept apologizing for it being chaotic when there was only a handful of tables. When we ordered it took almost an hour to get our food and when we did my biscuit for brunch BLT was both too wet and too dry and immediately fell apart, my husband got the smash burger and the tomato on it looked like a rotten tomato, we weren't going to say anything but the cherry on top was when they took our card to pay, they had it for at least 10minutes before charging the card and then another 10 minutes after charging it and we had a different server bring a machine over to us tell us tip and then walked off. My huevos dish came without its cheese or tortilla strips. The strips they brought when I asked looked more like thick pieces of breadstick. Very kid friendly, very welcoming environment. They have excellent food and staff the chicken tenders are very good however you should let them cool off a little before taking a bit out of them right when you get it. They can make most of the alcoholic drinks in a virgin form. Some of them they can't make a virgin. You can request them to put edible glitter in a virgin drink however they can not make the glitter bomb drink a virgin but almost all of them can be. A nice vibrant area with a good contrast so it's not too bright they have some Booth's but definitely if you're a little over weight you will want the Booth's if they are available. read more

So disappointed. Ordered the flap jack fiesta. Pancakes, 3 eggs with bacon and cheese on top. Came out with 3 pancakes in a taco holder with scrambled eggs a sprinkle cheese and bacon on top. No where in the description did it mention it would come in a taco holder. So I told the guy that's was not mentioned in the description and I said all I wanted was some pancakes with eggs and bacon. He said he would fix it. Came back with 3 giant pancakes, some breakfast potatoes and eggs that were weirdly chopped up. The pancakes had some cinnamon and nutmeg in the batter (weird to me). So we got the bill and my boyfriend paid and mentioned it was 80 with tip. So I looked at the ticket and they charged me $15 for the pancakes which said on the ticket "with 2 bacon" which i never got. Then I was charged $5 for the two chopped up eggs. I got an expresso martini which came in a glass coffee cup and was soooo sweet I couldn't drink it all cost $10.50 which is about normal. So I mentioned to the waiter I never got the bacon and would have never ordered 3 giant pancakes and would not have got the eggs if I would have known it would separately cost $5. My boyfriend got the salty pot roast seasonal special which was so salty he couldn't eat it. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans. The beans were as skinny as a toothpick and dried up.
