So we took this class after buying the book ("What To Do When You're Having Two.") I was impressed with the book because it has a lot of really great twin-specific suggestions, and as a first-time mom I was kinda freaking out.
The Twiniversity classes stick pretty much to the book, but Natalie expounds on a lot of the information and let us ask a LOT of questions. She also had guest speakers and swag bags - not cheap, rinky-dinky ones, but full of great stuff that I'll need, like anti-colic bottles and pacifiers and balms and creams and stuff. We also got a lot of coupons and raffle prizes. Dinner is included. DINNER. OMG, such good Italian food down in Little Italy.
The great thing about this class is that Natalie stays with you: we all got her email and her cell phone in case we had questions or needed anything. I asked her to give my registry her blessing (I don't know about you, but we were so overwhelmed when we went to start it that we left) which she happily did. All in all, we learned a lot of great things and had a great time.
The class is a two-parter (you have the option of only going to one, but I highly recommend going to both) and we met some nice families (of all shapes/sizes/colors/creeds/preferences.) Good luck on your babies! read more
