I visited this church twice, and while the people were friendly, the message from the pastor (Eric) was deeply troubling. The pastor made several statements that, in my view, misrepresented the heart and character of God, including implying that sickness, cancer, miscarriage (the loss of a child) might somehow be part of God's will. As someone who has personally experienced miscarriage, this was incredibly painful to hear from the pulpit. According to Scripture, God is a healer, restorer, and life-giver. Jesus healed all who came to Him. The Bible says every good and perfect gift comes from above, and it's the thief who steals, kills, and destroys, not God. Teaching that tragedy or sickness may come from God creates confusion and fear, not faith. From my perspective, this message was not led by the Holy Spirit. Churches that teach this way unintentionally create spiritually handicapped Christians -- people who love God but never walk in the authority, power, and partnership that Scripture clearly says we are meant to carry. I also reached out privately to share my concerns but never received a way to contact the pastor directly. I genuinely appreciated how welcoming the congregation was, but the theology communicated from the platform does not align with the God of Scripture. A God who heals, comforts, restores, and never takes children away or wills sickness over His people. I hope this church reconsiders how it represents God's character. I pray the truth will invade their hearts in Jesus name. read more

I've been attending TCC for about 18 months. I really feel very much at home here and look forward to Sunday mornings. The music is very good without feeling like a performance - I cheat a little by sitting on the front row and really try and let God speak to me in every song. The teaching is excellent; grounded in the Bible, relevant to our lives today and used by the Holy Spirit to shape me move into the image of Jesus! Love this church. read more

Wow I do have to say that this is an amazing church that I have ever been too. I really like the worship times and the sermons that are talked about. The people and the staff members at that church are very very nice. I would recommend this church to family and friends. It is children and teens best place to go to. To learn about Jesus. Fall Family Festival is another fantastic place to go to very children and adults friendly place to go and get all the free candy for everyone. A ton of games and a ton of different boots to go to and to play and get candy from all the different booths we have there. There are bouncy houses and slides ball pits. Enjoy the time and dun spending time with your family and friends. It is a very safe place to be at. We have a ton of security officers and first responders there at are medically trained. I attended this chruch for the first time last weekend. I was visiting family in Grass Valley and wanted to find a church similar to mine in Vacaville, CA. I was told about Twin Cities so I Googled their website and decided to attend a Sunday service.They have three different services to choose from. When I walked in, I was greeted right away. They had a table where a written name tag could be made for you, if you wanted to be greeted by name. The lobby was a good size. Lots of people walking around and talking to each other. Very lively and positive atmosphere. They have a small book store, coffee counter, tables and couches to sit at. I felt comfortable enough to drop my kids off in the kid's center. They said they had fun and felt comfortable there. They said they would want to go back again. The sanctuary was a really good size. There was lots of seating and open seats. I felt comfortable (not too warm or cold). Oh, also wanted to note that dress is casual. I enjoyed the worship and the sermon very much. I am more used to a livelier worship (more hand raising, visual enjoyment of worship), but was ok that it wasn't. The service lasted, I think, I little over an hour. I ended up buying a couple books before I left and was given a bag of information and a gift for being a newbie there. I will definitely be back the next time I'm visiting Grass Valley for the weekend. read more

Twin Cities Church is very welcoming, very relevant and offers so many classes, programs and events to help you learn more, connect with others, and develop your faith. They have 3 amazing services every Sunday. My kids, ages 4 and 8, LOVE the children's program and actually get excited about going to church! I feel that my kids are very safe and very well cared for at Twin Cities! Although it is a big church, everyone I have met there is genuine and very open (not clicky) and it seems like EVERYONE in the church is involved in volunteering in some way or another, working together to make this one incredible church family! read more

My past experiences with churches left me cold. I didn't want to hear that I was a sinner; I already knew that. I certainly didn't want to hear that a newborn baby was a sinner. I didn't want to be threatened with hellfire and damnation if I didn't live a certain way, according to the preacher. When I joined TCC, I felt accepted, loved, understood, and welcome by all. They seemed to have "been there, done that", as had I, and were now leading a Christian life. They make no big deal of it if you haven't been perfect all your life, as most churches do.
