The Tuxedo Cat is a funky pop-up venue that hosts newer artists and more experimental work during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. (It also has a sister venue at the Adelaide Fringe.)
This pop-up has table tennis and a limited bar (bottled beer, house wine & a couple of spirits) to keep you entertained while you wait for your show. There's also a food truck parked out on the loading dock.
Which also means this converted space is rocking the drafty warehouse vibe. (Bring a extra layer or order an extra beer to stay warm on cold nights.) The toilets are a bit dodgy too (including port-a-loos last year.) So heed my dad's road trip advice and make sure you go at the last stop before getting on the Tuxedo Cat highway.
