A really nice quiet place to find books. The shelves have cleverly sorted out different categories…read morefor you which makes everything a lot easier. They also offer used English books as well. I paid many visits to the bookstore while I was visiting Barcelona. As a beginner in Spanish , I found many useful books for learning the language ( large selection of children's books too !) Unless you are looking for a particular book , everything here is perfect ! P.s The clerk is really nice as well

Their policies are simple, intelligent and just might be invincible: they buy any book you bring…read morethem with the exception of encyclopedias and reference works and separate the wheat from the chaff later (please call before taking them your entire bookshelf, though). They don't pay much, but they take it all. And you also get the solace of recycling the written word in a way Amazon's capitalist-devil-Kindle-scheme does not permit. I'll be in Barcelona for 2 weeks, and today a visit to Re-read was on my to-do list. Popped in…read moreabout 10:30 this morning and browsed. I was very happy with the wide selection: I found books in English, French, Catalan and Spanish (and those were just the ones I personally saw). I didn't stay long however because I found just what I needed (I had to ask an employee to help me find one book in a series and she was so helpful and sincere). So I bought 5 books for 10 euros. Absolutely loved this place and would recommend to anyone looking for a good cheap read.

Very nice employees, however, either there is a huge culture gap or there was very shifty business…read morepractices. I had found a picture that I wanted. I picked it up and kept it with me throughout the time I was shopping for other items. After completing my shopping I inquired about the price of the picture. The nice lady took the item to the front to inquire about the price. She returned and told me that a customer in line was going to purchase the item. I was taken aback. I had the picture in my hands the entire time I was shopping only letting it go to hand it to the employee. I'm not sure if this is normal operating procedure for Spain and I'm just not understanding, or if they simply sold it to someone else when I inquired about the price. I immediately left the store. The lady then said the gentlemen buying the picture changed his mind and I can buy it. Needless to say, I passed. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.
