He always seeks to understand your issue, find the problem, diagnose and establish an effective treatment plan. When Dr. Marion has a full schedule, I LOVE that the practice has an "on-call" physician to take urgent patients. Because of that, I have been seen same day most of the time I call for an appointment. Between Dr. Marion, Dr. Oehme, Dr. Tuttle, Dr. White or Dr. Swanton (new to the practice), I have always received amazing care and could NEVER ask for a better family practice. And it would behoove me to mention the front desk staff and NURSES at this practice. They are the ones you talk to when scheduling, triaging your medical condition before you ever see the doctor. The front office folks are always warm & welcoming. The nurses know you more than just by name, they know who you are, your family, work, hobbies, etc. They know because THEY CARE ABOUT YOU! Other offices have kept me waiting, but not so here. (Do bring a magazine into the exam room with you though -- that's where the longest wait is likely to be). Dr. Oehme never seems to be rushed when I see him. He takes the time to listen when I describe symptoms, and seems to really hear what I say. He explains everything in detail, and is great about returning calls with regard to test results, etc. He's gentle and funny and just an all around great doc. (Of course I did see him wearing socks and sandals once at the library, but I won't take off points for that!)

For example, with your monthly fee, you see her if you need to, and if you don't, then you don't. She has contracts with different companies so your labs and medication's may come to you at a better price. She only sees a certain amount of patients so this pretty much allows you to see her sooner than you normally would any other primary. The most important she listens. it has been such a blessing to have her help me through a transition from another state and get a long-term condition under control.
