I have always been confident in my analytical and problem solving skills. However, my reading,…read morecomprehension, and grammar scores fell short of my expectations. In my search to find the right services to help me improve my scores I came across a lot of companies offering SAT prep classes, but I refused to be follow a regimen that catered to the average student. Instead, I wanted a tutor that would cater to my pace of learning. This lead me to Expert Tutors, and to my surprise they offered more than just tutoring services. They offered a safe space to learn. This was a space where I had all the resources I needed to build my pool of vocabulary through her Word Explosion methodology. This was a space where I would enjoy learning what a gerund was. Expert tutors provided me the much needed respite from the college application process; a process that had riddled me with much anxiety. Mrs. Morrison's contagious love for reading and grammar provided me the motivation I needed to study and improve my SAT scores. Alan has worked with my daughters on study skills, test preparation, classwork and homework assignments, and he has also assisted them in preparing for the SAT in both math and reading. Alan started working with my daughters in middle school and has continued to help them through their high school years and even in to college with my oldest daughter. Both my daughters have worked with Alan using Skype for the past several years and it has made scheduling regular tutoring sessions very convenient and flexible.
