Both of my boys started at this daycare when they were just 4 months old, which is such a big step for any parent. From the very beginning, the staff made me feel confident that my babies were in caring and loving hands. Miss Herronda has been especially incredible. She has always taken the time to truly listen to my concerns about my boys' development and has supported them through so many important milestones. She has helped with their feeding, encouraged them as they learned to walk, and worked with them on their sleep routines. Having someone who genuinely cares about their growth and well-being has meant so much to our family. I also want to recognize Miss Nichell, Miss Jenn, Miss Sandra, Miss Ellie, Miss Darshi, Miss Dianne, Miss Lydia, and Miss Persia. Each of them has played a role in caring for and supporting my boys. There are honestly too many amazing teachers to name, but every single one who has come into contact with my children has helped them in some way. My daughters have been at Tutor Time Cypress for almost a year now and they absolutely love it! They love their teachers, the school, & all their friends here! As a parent I couldn't tell you how much I've appreciated all of their patience, help, and great communication! When we originally started looking for schools Tutor Time Cypress was on the top of our list but we ultimately decided to go with a school that had a smaller student to teacher ratio. That school ended up doing all of their students, parents, and staff dirty & closed without warning and we were all left to scramble for a daycare. Luckily Mrs.Jenifer the director at Tutor Time Cypress welcomed us and a couple of my daughters classmates with open arms into their school, made sure the kids were all adjusting well as they had very much gone through an abrupt and overwhelming experience. If I could go back I would've chose Tutor Time from the start, the whole staff is great, the school is very secure, & it's also very clean. The app is also great because you're be able to see what your child is doing throughout the day. If you're even thinking of sending your kids here, put them on the waitlist immediately because it can sometimes be a long waitlist depending on the time of enrollment. If we weren't moving out of town my girls would've been here until grade school. Tutor Time in Cypress was the first time that I left my 3-yr old son at a preschool/day care setting. I picked up my son the first week after work when the sun had mostly gone down to find him with completely wet clothes because no one was supervising him while he played with the water fountain. The school is set in between business buildings, so it is mostly in shade throughout the day. Needless to say, he ended up with a terrible cold. I picked him up another time with the same situation- completely wet clothes. Terrible experience! I filed a complaint and they basically dropped my child from the school. Instead of owning up to their deficiencies, they swept it under the rug by dropping my child from their school. Best thing to ever happen though! I ended up taking him to Tutor Time in Irvine, which was a more caring and nurturing environment with an outstanding academic curriculum. There just isn't really enough I can say about this childcare center. The English language just doesn't have enough words. The energy everyday is upbeat every class every teacher ever body here is so happy on their careers they truly love the children they take time with the children. They know everyone's names and are just happy to be apart of the children's life. My one year old sings her ABC and a few other songs as well as knowing what things are which really speaks to the parent school effort to teach the child. she's learning though she doesn't talk yet she tries. I do not recommend this place. This private daycare is nothing but a financially-driven institution. 1 Star for schedule flexibility and technology. They have classroom cameras and an app for communication & activities. However, you will see for yourself on the live camera footage that there is very little teacher engagement with the children academically (speaking from my observation of the Twos classes). Another yelper referred to this place as the "DMV of daycares" and I completely agree with that opinion. The classrooms are crowded with kids with the minimum teacher ratios. We love Tutor Time and all of the teachers and staff. We originally chose TT for the location and due to them taking part time. Our daughter has been attending since she was about 4 months old and she is now almost 2. I was originally concerned to put her in school so young, but the teaches In the infant room were so great that after the first week we felt at ease. She is now in the toddler room and we love her teachers. TT is more than a daycare. We really saw her respond to the curriculum learning her colors, shapes, numbers, and alphabet. This is our first time trying out a daycare and we love it here! My son Jax, is in the toddler room and gets so happy to see his teachers now that he's used to me dropping him off. They have updates every day called Precious Status. Basically they give u an update of the food and activities of the day. Playgrounds are child proof and the classroom also. The director, Jennifer, goes out of her way to learn all of the students and their parents. I am amazed at how involved they are in the kids lives. We started with our first when he was about 9 months, we picked this place as it was very convenient to work and we liked what we saw (structure, hot breakfasts, big play area, etc.). We loved the teachers with our first. They were very caring and made us feel very happy with our choice. We started to sour when our first was about 18 months but just chalked it up to maybe one bad teacher. When our first was 2 years old faith was restored and we were happy with the next teacher, again feeling like we did in the infant room. When our 2nd came around we transferred our first to a closer Tutor Time for about 4 months. Between the two centers is night and day. The food choices, attitude of the teachers, and activities were just far far superior. However, we had to change back due to work and were ok with starting our 2nd in the infant room. Things when down hill fast and they are in a light speed effort to redefine bad management. There are some good people there who care about kids and you'd be happy to take care of your little ones but they are equal to or maybe out numbered by those who are possibly clinical zombies who are just there to collect their paychecks. It's like the DMV of daycare. I don't blame the teachers; I blame the management who lets the teachers just sit kids in front of TV all day and do nothing. A 3 or 4 year olds curriculum they tout is just BS, it's free play and tons of TV. Teachers do the bare minimum to keep the kids safe and sometimes cross that line (we caught a teacher sleeping while "watching" our first). While there may be spurts of happiness from a teacher from time to time over the course of time its just the endless pursuit of path of least resistance. Getting through the day. We should have moved them long ago but stuck with it as we needed to make other transitions and I do regret that choice. Want to park up front to put your kids in the car safely? Sorry management and teachers park in those spaces. We were told to park across the street! Now, with a new daycare (a few miles away) and it is night and day different. From the far better balanced food (food does not just come from a can Tutor Time!), teachers who are happy (hey management, its possible), a real learning plan of helping drive their development (not just what movie is it today). Maybe one day significant changes will be made at high enough levels to drive real change down and turn this place around but I highly doubt it. It's very telling when accreditation comes and the food is better, teachers are perky, and everyone is friendly with the TV nowhere to be found. It's not that they can't do it, its they don't care about your kids enough to do it. They care about your wallet. They are driven by the accounting books, not by providing a warm caring learning environment for your kids, which we would all be happy to pay for. I agree with Lu T. My son transferred from Kiddie Academy (spent 2.5 wonderful years) to this Tutor Time and we pulled him in less than 4 months. Our son is social and bright, and we noticed a decline in his self esteem after a few weeks. He would hesitate to hug his teacher. Two events we can't forget: (1) verbally abusing a child out of camera view after hours when the other children are out of the class room as we looked to pickup our son. (2) little 2 yo was forcefully and physically yanked off the toilet, again out of camera view. Food NEVER matched the menu and given same JUNK everyday. Literally, this place would pinch on nutrition to help the bottomline. Rarely did the teachers engage with students. STAY AWAY!!! read more

I called ahead and was told there were openings for both my children but I must hurry because spots were being filled quick. I work 12 hr nightshift so I had to sacrifice sleep to rush to get approval from 3rd party payer arrived to my next day enrollment appointment at 12p (middle of my sleep before going back to work) only to be told "unfortunately there are no openings". The young lady at the front proceeded to explain to me that they have nothing to do with the promotion of the facility and "those people always tell people to come but I'm sorry were all full" what a waste of time and energy on an unorganized facility. I asked the lady why even send an email confirmation of an appointment for the enrollment and a tour of the facility if they weren't going to honor either one. Believe the other reviews when they say this place is only here for money. I did not get to see all around the place but I did see one room with many kids of all ages laying on the floor together And leaning against each other, side-by-side, or on top of each other not social distancing and all on an electronic device (lap top/iPads/cellphones). I did not see a single child on a desk or chair so maybe it is best that my kids do not attend this place. I was expecting to see some desks with chairs to try to provide somewhat of a work environment but nope, not for these kids. read more

I wish my child could've stayed here forever! The teachers are extremely caring and loving. My child had blossomed more than he would have had he stayed home. Initially we had the typical worry of starting our child at a new daycare, but with each day there were leaps and bounds of progress. My child became strong, more fun, social, and confident. It was incredible how each teacher knew my child's name and knew particular facts about my child as if they truly cared to know him. Although all the teachers were excellent, Ms Kendahl was absolutely amazing. She was able to provide so much detail and examples of growth in my child's day. I love communication and Ms Kendahl was the best at that. It's hard enough being apart from your child, yet I felt so happy for all the things my little one was learning while we were apart. I loved how Ms Kendahl took the time to learn things about my little one to help in my child's care and growth. Besides the actual parent or family, I've never known anyone else to love a child as Ms Kendahl had loved ours. We'll miss her dearly. Bottom line, all of the teachers at TT are amazing. I wish I had never thought a 1 Star review was "helpful" prior to my experience at TT because that review was far from our experiences - it wasn't true for us. I was dreading potty training my oldest, because boys, but it was so easy with Ms. Ebony. My littlest is 9 months old and is so happy and thriving since he started there at 5 months. I'm excited about my oldest entering pre-school and then pre-K. They have addresses, agendas, curriculum, which is super important to me as a teacher. I have had my children here since we started my son in 2012. We love how much everyone there cares for all three of our children. From infant care through PreK we have appreciated the love and attention the teachers all show to the child as an individual. The admin helps work with my husband and me on whatever we need. They have very well laid out expectations for both the child and the class. They have improved their reporting system and now I get pictures and updates of my daughters on my phone while I'm at work. I can't say enough about this place. Last year my husband got called out in the field and we had to put our 6 month old and 2 year old in daycare. I love this place. Ms Rita infant room was awesome and Jonah has moved to 2 other class rooms has he got older. The transition has been great and there isn't one teacher that I haven't been satisfied with. I love the updated app and how attention to detail all the infant room teachers have been with Jonah. Jonah has been put on a nice schedule since going there. We love the fact that our 3 year comes home everyday with something new that she has learned at school. We love Ms. Ebony, she is the potty whisper. We could not for the life of us get our daughter out of diaper and she had her trained within the first 2 weeks. Lilliana loves her. She has been moved to Brittany, and now Ms Megan. Everyone has been great with the transition. My husband and I cannot say enough about this place I do recommend all infants, and children. I would give zero stars if able to. Where do I begin? Let's see... tuition is high, and they are raising it. Yes, you do get food included, but it's the same items over and over again, mostly from a can. You can tell the director only wants to enroll for monetary purposes only. This is by far the best childcare my children have recieved. We toured other schools and so glad we decided to go with this one. The teachers are professional and always looking out for the children's best interest. The curriculum is amazing and so are the teachers. There are so many nice things I can say about this childcare center. my daughter started attending here in mid October and I'm already in love with this place. my daughter will be 4 in July and as most children is very hyperactive but she also has been diagnosed with ADHD. the staff and teachers here are so loving and understand with my concerns and needs for my daughter... they greet me by name instead of (insert child's name)'s mom, my daughter loves the teachers and staff and hugs them, it's just a wonderful environment for children. this is the 6th or 7th childcare my daughter has been to and I want to keep her here. to make it clear how awesome they are, I'm moving soon so that I can be closer to the center. I'm not a new mom. I have two grown children and starting all over again is just as concerning as the first time you bring your child to a new learning center/daycare. This was my toddlers first time being in a new environment. We have had the privilege of dad being able to care for her at home with the help of family for the first 2-1/2 yesrs. However we knew it was time to integrate her in a social setting with peers her age, and after looking at several options we felt tutor time would be the best fit. The curriculum, staff and program was ideal, but little did I know the staff would be so kind, genuine and supportive. They are all amazing especially Miss Tracy, Miss Lorecia, Miss Jennifer and my absolute favorite (and my little's favorite too) Miss Lynette! They made me and my little feel welcome and took time to make her comfortable in her new surroundings. Sadly we are moving out of state and on the waitlist for the tutor time where we are moving. But it's worth the wait. I wish we could bring the staff with us or at least hope for the same wonderful experience. We will be stopping by when we come back to visit. I am so grateful that I chose tutor time for my littles first learning care experience. After Day three it was like her home away from home, she really looked forward to going. It's been a year since I wrote a review on this place and since then the management has made a change for the better. The wonderful assistant director Claudia is still there caring for each kid that comes through those doors everyday that she is there. The new Director Jennifer has been there for about a year and she and every staff member works so hard to make the children and parents happy everyday. They will go out of there way to make sure that each child has what they need for them to be happy. Also I love how they always have fun little projects and experiments for the kids to do. For example Ms. Ricia, Ms. Bobbie and the PreK students had a chance to make silly putty, build a robot, make bath salt, and they even got a chance to make their own pizza for lunch just to name a few projects. The staff also develops a great relationship with the parents as well. They always have great turn out at their little events. read more
