Very kind and welcoming school. The staff and teachers are sweet. The administrator goes above and beyond for all the children and staff.

I wish I had info on the school and staff but we never made it through the front door. First, i scheduled a virtual tour that never connected through teams. I wated a half an hour. Then my husband and i took a morning off to tour , just to find out once i arrived for the rour, that they dis not have a class for his age group. Fine, i called the main line to find a place close that had his age and was routed to the wrong location and give a phone number that answered with an outgoing message in Spanish. We gave up and applied for other schools. A few weeks later we received an email stating thay had openings and to respond if we still wanted one, which we did. So i sent an email. I didnt get a confirmation so a week later i sent an email verifying placement. I received a confirmation email to expect info soon. I never received further correspondence. He was supposed to start today, 8/8. Nothing , so i sent another email last week. No response and still no word from anyone. In the meantime i turned down a spot at another school because , even though its further away, i preferred Tudor Time. I called that place back and they still had an opening. Thank goodness we received a spot at another place closer to us and we are all happy. Stay away from this place if you actually want your kids to go to school. read more

Having lived in Anthem for many years it was a little town where everyone knew each other. Honestly, everywhere you went you would run into someone you knew. I was lucky to get into a previous daycare before Tutor Time where I got to know a lot of the staff very well since they took care of my two kids. Once the staff left and came to Tutor Time, I was happy to follow! Jessica the manager, is the most caring wonderful person. She has known my kids since they were in diapers and before they could talk. She is kind, helpful, understanding and truly cares about your children. The staff...I have hired them as babysitters and they are also gems. My kids learned a lot too! They have wonderful summertime field trips and little school buses that will pick them up for after school care at the local schools. *I would not be writing this review if the director and district manager would not have disregarded my request for a meeting. I would NOT recommend this or any tutor time. They had a hard time with our daughter's transition and decided to let another parent (not an employee or a Dr...a complete stranger) "observe our child for an extended period of time" WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE (we found out this happened by an employee's comment on Swip Swap months after we pulled her from tutor time...I have the screenshots still). They told me she was showing signs for autism when she was 6 months old and told me to take her to a child behavioral psychologist for evaluation. My Dr (and 2 others) told me nothing was wrong with her and the director told me to get another opinion. Every time I popped in to check on her, she was screaming in the corner crib by herself. We only lasted there a few weeks before pulling her out. They caused a lot of heartache to me as a new mom and had me halfway convinced I had an autistic baby that was "showing signs of Rhett's disorder" when in reality we were dealing with extreme separation anxiety. Valley childcare is worth every penny and she loves it there. It took her a week to transition and now she reaches out for her teacher to take her when I drop her off. No more crying. She loves her teachers and they love her. We are very happy there. Not to mention, the employees always smile and greet us when we come in. read more

I really hate to have to write this review because we have used Tutor Time for our now-9 year old since 2016 without any problems. Since we've mostly been staying at home since March, she hadn't been there in quite a long time. But earlier this month, we found we needed to send her there for part of a day. Two very disappointing things happened. First, I was charged $120.00 for a four hour stay for a 9 year old. The total was automatically deducted from my bank account. When I called the next day to question it, I was told that yes, the price did go up, but it was supposed to be $60, and somehow I was charged twice. The staff member I spoke to assured me she would process my refund then. The second disappointing thing was that when I went to pick her up after work, my child was in a classroom with about 10 kids, and none of them were wearing face masks. My child had removed the one she was wearing when she was dropped off. She was playing underneath a table with two other kids when I arrived. I asked her what happened to her mask, and she said, "They are not required. We don't have to socially distance or wash our hands, either." If I had known that, I would never have brought her there. Although it's in Anthem, this business is still in Maricopa County and still subject to the mask requirements. I also addressed this with the staff member I spoke to on the phone, and she told me they do not require the children to wear masks. She said the parents don't want it. Fast forward to today, about 3 weeks later. I still haven't received my refund of $60. I called Tutor Time this morning and asked about it. Turns out no one had requested it for me. The staff member on the phone asked if I just wanted to use it for future credit. I told her no thanks, we will not be back since you don't require masks, social distancing or hand washing. I probably won't ever get my refund, but I want other parents to know that basic infection control measures are not being taken at Anthem Tutor Time. read more

My son has been attending for about 2 months now, & he loves it. I was very nervous about putting him into daycare because his first experience wasn't very good. My son loves school & adapted so fast which was shocking but such a relief! He loves it so much that sometimes he cry's when I pick him up because he wants to keep on playing. I had a weight lifted off my shoulders because I don't have to worry about my son crying, I feel so blessed that he loves it and gets treated good! Beautiful facility, caring teachers, and happy kids! My husband and I are lucky enough to have mothers that have been willing to care for our two-year-old since she was a baby. We didn't "need" day care necessarily, but we wanted to give our daughter the opportunity to interact with kids her own age. (We take her to the park sometimes, but it's not the same as daily structured interaction.) We toured four different daycares in the area with our daughter. Tutor Time had the best facility by far, and during the tour our daughter played with the other kids in her would-be class. The teacher even took time out to get to know her before we made our decision to enroll. Because we already had "free" daycare from our family, we only wanted to enroll her a couple days a week. Our daughter currently attends two half days a week. She loves circle time, playing on the playground, and snack time and naptime. The first few days she was there, I was able to call and they'd patch me directly through to her teacher for updates on how she was holding up. For the first month when she'd get there each morning the teacher would let her sit on a chair and get settled in before interacting with the other kids. Now that she's more comfortable, she marches right in and starts her day playing. I appreciate that the teachers took the time to get to know her enough to know what she needed in order to really thrive in the class. Now our daughter always gushes about what she did each day when we pick her up. As a bonus, they also give daily reports of how many times they went potty/had a diaper change, what their activities were for the day, and what they ate for lunch. My kids have been going here for years and we used to love this place. However, this Spring Break my kids and others have been treated poorly, made to sit in assigned seating without talking for several hours, their outside "privilege" was revoked due to laughing, had toys taken away because the staff "hated" the toy that Tutor Time provided, and so much more. The following day, after we reported this information to the director, my children were retaliated against by staff who, at one point, asked the children "Where are we?" Children :"On the playground" Staff: "And where is the playground?" Children: "Outside." Staff: "That's right, so now no one can go home and tell their parents they weren't allowed to go outside, right (my child's name)?" And that is only one incidence of the staff's retaliation/bullying that day. This causes me even more concern for the younger children who are not old enough to speak and communicate with their parent's as these new 2 staff members were previously working with the younger children. read more

Tutor Time in Anthem is great! Our daughter enrolled a year and a half ago and we have been happy from the start. Great staff, clean environment, and an educational component built in to many activities. Staff keeps parents informed throughout the day (using an app) on toileting, food, naps, activities, and even pictures. Our daughter loves going there and that peace of mind for a parent is priceless! Highly recommend. read more
