Agreed with the other reviews talking about being nickle and dimed. Aside from lots of fees, If you miss a payment - they won't retry taking the payment out you have to mail them a cashiers check or western union them money, yet they are literally a bank. Great bank, they really had there work cut out for them in this 2 month loan I had that took 1year to finalize due to an inadequate dealership. I appreciate the tenacity of the staff to answer all questions and to work with me to get things completed. Location is at a busy section of town but you shouldn't have an issue with finding it. I had a horrible experience today at the Tustin Community Bank. My name is Emmanuel and I am the Founder and Managing Member of Drop Risk LLC; my company helps American businesses implement the Cybersecurity Framework recommended by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. I went to the bank seeking a loan and I was told that the loan officer has been sick for three months and they don't know when he will be back. I requested to speak with a supervisor and the older woman at the desk refused to provide any supervisor's name. She said the Vice President is the only one who can authorize business loans and I would have to leave a voice mail with his assistant. The woman refused to provide a contact name, number, and business card of the assistant as well. Worst customer service ever. read more

Horrible bank to work with, paid off my car loan ahead of time in October, it is now February and still have not received my title. I keep getting the run around about my title. I had to call the DMV to check if they have received a release from this bank for my title , they have verified they have NOT received any releases from the bank for my title. I will be pursing this legally and they WILL be paying for all legal fees. STAY AWAY from this bank. read more

If you can, avoid getting a loan from them at all costs. I wrecked my car and my insurance agency and I tried emailing, calling, and faxing them so my insurance could get the total balance for payout. Tustin knew that the car was a total loss and they stopped emailing me as soon as i told them the insurance would cover 98% of what i still owed on the car. They ended up digging my credit as a late payment (which i never was before) and still didnt work with my insurance to get their payout. They have lousy customer service and i am fighting them on my credit report. read more

I would give no stars if possible. If I were the bank manager here I would be so upset at the way the staff lets potential customers walk out their door. You are losing potential customers and money. My bank right now is a little too far away for my liking. I was a branch manager myself for well over half my life and I refuse to give big banks my business. This bank is around the corner from my house and seemed to be a nice community bank. I decided to walk in and see what types of accounts they have. First off they have no brochure or information that offers you their deposit account products, senior checking? interest checking? a checking account for the working class? I have no idea. I stood in the small lobby and turned around in circles for a few minutes before anyone even said hi to me. I asked if they had something that states what type of accounts they have and they gave me a brochure that showed nothing... They said they didn't have what I was asking for. I said okay thanks and they said nothing more so I walked out. WOW! I have never experienced anything like this. They must have a ton of loans to stay in business. Too bad for me that this is a terrible bank, it would've been nice to have transferred all of my loans and accounts here. Oh well, I am glad they showed me the type of service and care they do not show their customers before I went through the trouble of trying to bank somewhere new. read more

I have a car loan with them but I didn't choose to finance my car through this bank. I originally did In-House financing with a small mom and pop dealership who were the nicest people! But after a year of making my payments to them, they sold my loan to Tustin Community Bank. They said it would help my credit to sell my loan since they weren't reporting my payments to the credit bureaus, so I was okay with it. But this is literally the worst bank I have ever dealt with. First of all, they don't take debit card payments. They only accept cash, an automatic withdrawal from your bank, or a check. (Who the heck still uses checks?) Anyway, I live about 30 miles from this bank so I have to go out of my way every month because they charge $12 to make a payment over the phone. The customer service is so poor!! I had a guy call who was so rude! My payment was late and he called to get a payment from me. I didn't have the full amount, so I said I could pay half but he denied my payment. He said they didn't take partial payments. I even offered to make a full payment with a credit card. He didn't accept that either. I didn't understand why they would deny my money. It's not like I was avoiding my payment. I wanted to pay towards my balance and he just wouldn't help me. He said they've had bad experiences with people not making their payments so they don't offer many options. Not cool. I explained to him that I wasn't working right now and that it was hard to make the full payment. He then said I should get payday loan. Hmm... You need a job to apply for a payday loan. So I was annoyed that he even suggest that. Then he had the nerve to tell me not to get an attitude with him. The nerve! I really wish I was still making my payments to the small mom and pop dealership because it's literally a nightmare dealing with this bank. They don't give you options when you fall behind like most banks. They're just not people friendly at all. Two thumbs down for this bank! read more
