I had an extremely disappointing experience at this clinic. I came in after dealing with persistent…read morepelvic pain for several months, including symptoms that strongly suggested a ruptured ovarian cyst. I explained everything in detail to the intake staff -- including the fact that I had experienced sudden, sharp back and pelvic pain while flying, followed by bleeding and ovary pain. However, the provider (Dr. Okun) ignored all of this. The first thing she said to me was, "I heard you admitted you don't exercise," which had nothing to do with why I was there. The pelvic exam was so painful it left me in tears. No imaging was ordered. She quickly concluded that the pain was "muscular" and told me to follow up with my primary care provider. I left feeling completely dismissed and unheard. Years ago, I had sought care at this same clinic (with Dr. Eunice Baca) for similar symptoms and was repeatedly tested for STIs -- despite negative results -- while my actual condition was ignored. It was only after leaving this clinic and seeking care elsewhere that I was finally diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis through exploratory surgery. If you are dealing with chronic pelvic pain or gynecological symptoms, I strongly urge you to find a provider who listens, investigates thoroughly, and treats you with compassion. I do not recommend this clinic based on repeated negative experiences.

I'm honestly pretty conflicted about this place....I have few options for my insurance and chose to…read morego here. Botox commercials blare loudly in loop in the reception and they gave me a coupon for a free microderm abrasion. I had they typical 3 way struggle between insurance, the provider, and the lab. WHH billing staff is trying to refute a big charge from Quest lab to no avail- I'm stuck paying a large bill for something their NP Joan Peacock ordered. I was not impressed with that particular NP's service and might not be returning in the future. She also gave me vague instructions on further lab testing which I had to clarify through other members at the clinic and she wrote notes that did not reflect the nature of some parts of our conversation. I could just categorize my conflict here as a lot of communication issues. No accountability was taken on the part of the provider for the type and cost of lab work. This is also a problem typical of our country's medical system. I am impressed that there are very cost effective nutrition appointments available and I've started to see Jill and she has been giving me advice and resources that have been customized to my needs, I would definitely recommend her services. I've been seeing her for a little over 2 months. I also received assistance from their PA Natalie that was very helpful. That being said, I'm a little weary of the commercialized products that are sold at the clinic and I personally think there should be more of a divider between women's health and offering things like Botox and facial products and items that promote the ideals of pink taxes. There's enough pressure as it is to be a female.

When I actually got to see the doctor I was met with distain and no compassion didn't want to figure out what was wrong. Just wanted to refer me to other people so I went and started again going online trying to figure out my own symptoms. Based on my lab work that was done that the doctor had access to, so I have some type of infection could have prescribed me something based on that ordered some test. I was looked at now just oh well you have a small fibroid and nothing is gonna help your pain. We can maybe try this and maybe try that maybe try this but didn't wanna actually figure it out. Just wanted to refer me somewhere else so hopefully the excruciating pain she put me through for the test actually get run so I can get the results and hopefully get a doctor that will actually try and figure out what's wrong and help instead of criticizing and treat me like I didn't matter

I…read morecompleted all their paperwork and as I arrived at their office, had to take a phone call that put me at 8 mins my original appt time (12:10). I explained that the phone call was related to my hospital care from the prior week and it was the gastro office setting up my follow up appt, it couldn't be helped. The receptionist informed me she would have to ask the provider if it was ok for me to still be seen. 12 minutes later (!), she left me standing at the front desk for that long, she said she had to wait for the provider to get out of her current appointment and the provider said no she couldn't see me (the lobby was empty as was the parking lot). She then informed me I couldn't be seen until August. This for post-menopausal bleeding and a lump. Unconscionable service, unreasonable and just plain rude. If I could rate -0- stars I would.

I have been using their services since moving to ABQ and have found staff to be very compassionate. They listen to you, any concerns that you may have and advise the different options/things that they can do to help you. Although my visits had been with different staff, I found them all to be very personable and have great bedside manner. There was no uncomfortable, awkward moments, despite some types of checkups that are needed for women's care at all. The only thing is...I think they are pretty short staffed. You arrive and check in...but you may have to wait a bit to actually get your name/check in done (because the front desk runs a bit late) or the staff may still be with their prior appointments. But otherwise, the quality of their staff, their services and the cleanliness of this facility made me feel pretty content with the services I receive there.
