Updating my review since the initial nurse I saw left the practice (she was awful). After they…read morefound fibroids on my ultrasound, I was referred over to Dr. Valdez for a surgical consult, and I'm so grateful I landed in her care! She's kind, knowledgeable, and patient, always taking time to explain procedures and options (as well as risks), and always answered all of my questions (and my partner's and mom's). I also really appreciate that she's not a fluff person, just direct and to the point, but she also laughs and jokes with us. It's apparent she deeply cares about her patient's. Dr. Valdez got me the referral to hematology that the original nurse refused, and my iron infusions really helped with my anemia and iron deficiency. She then did my myomectomy this summer, which unfortunately didn't last, and my fibroids came back right away (to no fault of hers), so I got in for a hysterectomy with her in November. Besides blood clots, which I was at higher risk for, I've had zero complications or issues, and both of my post-op appointments were pain-free and reassuring. Both of my ultrasound technicians were also wonderful, making sure I was comfortable and took their time to make sure they got everything. I highly recommend Dr. Valdez for any gynecological surgery needs!

Finally I was taken to a room and I mentioned the long wait. No apology, just "there were 2 people ahead of you", which was not my issue. After waiting another half an hour for the provider to come in, I simply left.. No apologies.

How many times I had blood test from my current doctor he can't able to diagnose my problem. When I met Dr. Komadina did changed my life. My first visited to him , he did blood test on me and he found out right away what was wrong with me. Dr. Komadina told me that I was suffering with Thyroid Disease. He put me on medication and since then I have been doing good. My hair is stopped from falling out and my voice go back to normal. I am so thankful to Dr. Komadina who is diagnosed with my problem. I'm honestly pretty conflicted about this place....I have few options for my insurance and chose to…read morego here. Botox commercials blare loudly in loop in the reception and they gave me a coupon for a free microderm abrasion. I had they typical 3 way struggle between insurance, the provider, and the lab. WHH billing staff is trying to refute a big charge from Quest lab to no avail- I'm stuck paying a large bill for something their NP Joan Peacock ordered. I was not impressed with that particular NP's service and might not be returning in the future. She also gave me vague instructions on further lab testing which I had to clarify through other members at the clinic and she wrote notes that did not reflect the nature of some parts of our conversation. I could just categorize my conflict here as a lot of communication issues. No accountability was taken on the part of the provider for the type and cost of lab work. This is also a problem typical of our country's medical system. I am impressed that there are very cost effective nutrition appointments available and I've started to see Jill and she has been giving me advice and resources that have been customized to my needs, I would definitely recommend her services. I've been seeing her for a little over 2 months. I also received assistance from their PA Natalie that was very helpful. That being said, I'm a little weary of the commercialized products that are sold at the clinic and I personally think there should be more of a divider between women's health and offering things like Botox and facial products and items that promote the ideals of pink taxes. There's enough pressure as it is to be a female.

When I actually got to see the doctor I was met with distain and no compassion didn't want to figure out what was wrong. Based on my lab work that was done that the doctor had access to, so I have some type of infection could have prescribed me something based on that ordered some test. I was looked at now just oh well you have a small fibroid and nothing is gonna help your pain. We can maybe try this and maybe try that maybe try this but didn't wanna actually figure it out. Just wanted to refer me somewhere else so hopefully the excruciating pain she put me through for the test actually get run so I can get the results and hopefully get a doctor that will actually try and figure out what's wrong and help instead of criticizing and treat me like I didn't matter

I have been using their services since moving to ABQ and have found staff to be very compassionate. They listen to you, any concerns that you may have and advise the different options/things that they can do to help you. Although my visits had been with different staff, I found them all to be very personable and have great bedside manner. There was no uncomfortable, awkward moments, despite some types of checkups that are needed for women's care at all. The only thing is...I think they are pretty short staffed. You arrive and check in...but you may have to wait a bit to actually get your name/check in done (because the front desk runs a bit late) or the staff may still be with their prior appointments. But otherwise, the quality of their staff, their services and the cleanliness of this facility made me feel pretty content with the services I receive there.
