They helped me get started and I went back to them several times before I decided I was in the market for a board myself. Turns out they sell them too! I bought a brand new board off them for a pretty good price (around the same price as the ones in costco, but get way more board for the money!) and it has been fantastic! Now the reason for the three star rating. You're not going to get a high end boat. The seadoos seem newer but the boats are older and show their wear. There's no wakeboard tower on the larger boat so wake boarding is tough for newbees. The tube was a mess and took us over an 1/2 an hour to get sorted and inflated, we ended up using our own pump. They want to get you out on the water which is awesome but for most people they don't understand how to pull people or maneuver a boat so my husband ended up driving for our group while I followed in the much smaller challenger. Lake okanagan is a big lake with big swells so a small boat was not very fun. Would I recommend Mach? Maybe but there are better boats to rent on smaller lakes if you're looking for a boat rental with a better experience this may not be the spot for you

Bring a book and relax in the shades, or bring your fishing pole and try your luck. For me, I bring Daisy to enjoy the grounds, and she also likes to have a dip in the cool lake water. Also, a great place for an impromptu picnic with friends and family. Remember to respect the nature, take away whatever you bring, and don't leave any garbage that spoils the park for all to enjoy!!

In summer it is bustling with people who have come to go to the beach, relax in the park or go for a nice walk, run or bike ride. It is a great place to run because the path is right along the lake so you're treated to nice views and due to its size you can cover a decent distance for your workout. They still have the Ogopogo (the mythical creature who lives in the lake statue and the fountain with the dolphins. Let me tell you that these have been there a LONG time (at least since I was a child). They add a nice little touch to the park. Also since my most recent visit was in December the city has set up an outdoor skating rink which looked like a lot of fun. The park has signs saying "no dogs allowed" (possibly just on the deck?), but I saw plenty of people with their dogs along the shore. There are also benches where you can sit, relax, and take in the view and breeze. There's a zipline deck that looks like a lot of fun, especially in the summer! I'm not exactly sure what you hold onto while ziplining, but it seems like a great little thrill before splashing into the water. Just a heads-up--the jumping deck isn't connected to the main deck, so you'll have to swim to it. Be prepared to get wet before ziplining!

The family and I spent all day at this beach. There are washrooms at this location and a taco food…read moretruck during the time we were there. Across the street were condos and houses so not a lot of other things around. Parking is paid. What we liked was that the beach was very close by to the parking with a little green space. We saw lots of people set up blankets on the beach or grass. We found a nice spot under a tree and were able to get shade for a bit before the sun moved onto us. We did bring an umbrella so that was good. The beach was clean and the water was warmish and very shallow for quite a ways. Out of our time here, the kids spent the most time in the water and even tried to build some sand castles. There is also a beach rental where you can rent paddleboards and paddle boats. The only issue I had was the washrooms were disgusting; doesn't look like it gets cleaned very often and there was no place to change like on other beaches.

Great beach and park in Kelowna…read more There is a decent amount of sand to lay on and plenty of green grass too. There are washrooms to change but no vendors for food. Sand is pretty soft for lake base beach and great views of the lake and Kelowna surrounding area. One of the free limited parking areas on lakeshore and fills up fast. Beach bums rejoice can't go wrong here as long as you come prepare.
