Before, you only had one choice. I also give them credit for building where they did, it does not look like an easy lot to have put such a massive Sheetz on. With this being just off the turnpike it gets quite busy. Add to that it sits along PA Route 31 which connects Somerset to Mount Pleasant. And the fact that the town sits right across the turnpike from this, it becomes quite the popular place to grab whatever you need. They have plenty of pumps for you to get your fuel. They also have diesel pumps for those semis you probably just passed on the turnpike. Inside the store itself is huge. I mean like one of the biggest I have been to in a while. It gives the feel of a truck stop more than anything. Everything is a bit more extra in here from the bathrooms down to the selection of items offered for your convenience. Food prep time is quick. Employees are super polite. And getting in and out of here is a breeze.

They have a good snack selection and a good choice of donuts to go with your coffee. I asked what brand of gasoline they sold and was told BP. As Speedy Meedy's is located in a remote area of Pennsylvania, it's a good place to fill up as you certainly don't want to run out of gas.

This particular location is located in Jeannette, and it is open 24 hours per day. My husband and I needed to fill up the gas tank in our SUV with premium gasoline. A pump was available for our use, so we did not have to wait in a line of vehicles. The price of $4.999 per gallon was comparable to what other gas stations charge, and we experienced no waits or malfunctioning with the pump. Note: If you are a member of Giant Eagle's rewards program, then you can earn Perks here and later redeem them for discounts on gas and groceries. We did not use the convenience store or the GetGo Cafe, so I cannot comment on them.

To note it is at a very busy intersection on Route 30 in Jeannette. This sits between two red light intersections, on a busy day this can be quite a chore to get in and out of. With it being brand new the location has all the bells and whistles. The gas island is set off to one side of the lot making it fairly easy if you are just getting gas. There is also a free air spot for your tires. The store portion is pretty great. It has that industrial feel. It has all that you would expect to find when it comes to convenience. This location also has a fairly extensive selection of beer and wine. The hot prepared food section is rather nice looking. I cannot speak to the speed or quality of the food as I was just looking for a quick drink after fueling up my vehicle. One added bonus at this location is kind of hidden. Prior to this being a GetGo a PNC Bank sat at the location. PNC didn't completely go away. In the back right corner there sits a drive up ATM, brought to you by no other than PNC.

After several recommendations to try G & S (including from the local Ford dealership), we called to see if G & S had our tire in stock. They had options, and we talked about which one to buy. When we arrived to get the new tire, they looked at the old one and were able to fix it for us. The fix has worked great ! We were ready to buy, and they "had us over a barrel" but they treated us honestly and fairly, and got us in without an appointment. This is exactly the kind of shop I want near my house, and I cannot recommend them highly enough for any car care needs.
