I used a cane only because I felt lightheaded. She asked me if I worked. She pointed at my cane and said because you're using a cane; assumed I couldn't. Was passive aggressive and tried to "argue" with me about how she was cutting my hair. I like peace even with difficult people, so I tried to make friendly conversation. Didn't work. The cut was good in the end but the experience very poor. Rather than give her a bad review; I gave management a chance to make things right. They responded with retaliation.

Even though I wear my hair in 1970s and '80s semi-punk rock-style, he's able to make it work, while keeping it styled. After he's cut the hair, and it starts to grow back in again, is when you can see how good his work really is. He provides little extra touches, like cleaning-up the eyebrows, and removing excess nostril-hair. Joe has a fun personality, and he's proud of his Italian heritage. He is knowledgeable about many things, including food. Somewhat of an old-school barber shop atmosphere, with lots of successful business-types stopping in for a cut. Sometimes, some of the unusual neighborhood people come wandering in with bizarre requests and/or comments. Well worth the $20 fee. Overall, I highly recommend Joe at Rosetta's.

I am part SubSaharan (despite people trying to say to me otherwise) and so because of that my hair has a tendency to snarl since it gets into tightly wound curls. I had asked my stylist (Angie) to do a long layered cut and to do a "Protective hairstyle." Somehow, I felt like the vibes were off. Although it no doubt looked amazing the first day, not even a week later my hair is tangling the same exact way as before I had gone to her to get it fixed. Say what you think, but the last photo is immediately after the appointment and these other three are the photos of what she had done to my hair a couple of days after my appointment.
