I called the local office phone number, pressed 2 as instructed, then the person in Syracuse answered????? So finally got to a recording that I could leave a message to the local office. Finally someone from the local office called me. Eexpalined that I got the full panoramic and that is only covered by insuraqnce every 5 years. I told them I had a conversation with the hygenist I saw and said I just wanted a basic cleaning as this was my first visit. She said they always did the full panoramic for new patients, but I explained that I did not want anything my insurance didn't cover. She did it and assumed me as a new paitent that it would be covered. You know the rest of the story, I got a bill for the panoramic that my insurance did not cover. So in my conversation with a real person I was told I had to pay it even though their hygienist said it would be free for new patients. It's just a huge conglomerate that is a money-making machine.
