And even though you are not told explicitly in your move out instructions to move all of their appliances and clean underneath them, (worded simply as "Floors scrubbed, marks removed") they will charge you $170 to sweep and mop underneath them. The lanlord is rude, he over charges you on everything imaginable, lets you live in very inhabitable living conditions, doesn't do his job, doesn't care about his tenants, leaves the place a reck when you move in lets shower have rust sink have rust. Terrible rental experience. Wanted to know if I was renewing the least at the start of December. When I said I had no idea as the end of the lease was still 6 months away, he started showing it anyway. If I could give zero stars I would. I was forced to pay a full months rent for the final month of my lease but then was forced to be out by the 24th instead of the end of the month (never got my money back for the rest of the month). Then was charged $85 for carpet cleaning when they were the ones who decided to clean the carpets (carpets were in the same shape as when I moved in). Handles issues VERY unprofessionally. Landlords nickname is "Dirty Mike". I was warned and signed the lease anyway. Should've known better than to sign if I'd heard mostly negative things from NUMEROUS people around town about someone who has the nickname "Dirty". Walls and floors too thin so neighbors cry about every little thing even though you can hear EVERYTHING they do. I didn't complain to the landlord or cops even once. Hypocrital nonsense. Just liars and hypocrites. Doesnt tell you there is an issue until he blindsides you saying "there has been 'MuLtiPle cOMpLaiNtS'" and acts like you were supposed to know when you werent given a fair and professional chance. Unprofessional and greedy. There's a reason why Turn-Key has multiple one star reviews and the reputation that it does. I rented a property with roommates from Turn-Key. They are unwilling to work with you on anything and have no respect for their tenants. The landlord will invade your privacy and show your home without emailing you in advance. I can recall the one time he showed our home to prospective tenants without emailing us in advance. I then asked him where the heads up email was and he lied to us by saying it was in our spam and that he needed to have a word with me after to badmouth me for asking a reasonable question. Shortly after the prospective tenants left, he never had that word with me even though he loves badmouthing his tenants because he realized that he actually never sent us an email. Despite being a business that has made money off of your lease and the leases of others, They will do everything in their power to keep your deposit which is sad because that deposit money means alot to college kids who already don't have much. As stated in a previous review, avoid this property management company and rent with somebody who will treat you with a modicum of respect. read more
