For example: tonight I forgot my wallet at work and was about to run out of gas, I had a five dollar bill in my car and I paid the other five in quarters... I understand this is frustrating and I apologize and as I was walking out he said to the person that was in line behind me "oh my can't even afford to buy gas but you can buy ice cream in here every night". I was already embarrassed as it was and he just made the situation even more uncomfortable. Everyone else at this location are some of the nicest people I've ever met but tonight was just my breaking point.

The C-store is well stored, clean and well organized. The pumps are well lit and spacious. As gas stations and c-stores go - this one is clean and safe. This is your typical Duchess Shoppe, carrying everything from fuel, to Lotto, to water and energy…read moredrinks. The major drawback of this location is that it cannot be easily accessed if heading south on State Street due to the medians in the road. A left turn at a light, followed by a U-Turn is required. In an area that is not flush with convenient stores, this makes the location, well, not very convenient during rush hour traffic. Coupled with the new traffic patterns on this section of State Street you could find yourself taking longer to get to a pump than it takes you to fill up and grab some beef jerky and a scratch off ticket. You can follow the road behind the Monroe in order to get southbound on State, again waiting at a congested light. The inside of the store is brightly lit and always well stocked. The outside area also includes an air compressor, which is free if you have a Duchess loyalty card.

Very close to Polaris Shopping Center!…read more This Sheetz location is convenient especially if you're shopping at Polaris! It's also fairly close to the highway in case you're road tripping. I stopped in during a road trip. I was very impressed with Sheetz! This seemed like a place to be on Sunday evening. There were plenty of people getting gas (it was $2.699, considerably cheaper than at other nearby gas stations) and filling up gas containers. Gas pumps were cleaner than elsewhere. Few people were even dining outside on the patio. It's the first time I've seen Sheetz with a patio. Inside, outside, and even bathrooms were pristine. The facilities seemed to be nearly renovated. At the end of the day, there were limited prepared foods but plenty of snack options. This gas station even had huge chewy sticks for dogs! Also, a big beer cooler! I'll stop in again during my next visit to Columbus! Stop in for cheap gas and outdoor dining!
