I've been tanning here for 10 years now and I love turbo tan! The employees are always nice and the owner is a really nice guy as well! He even remembers my mom (she use to tan here) when I come in and ask how she is doing. Turbo tan is always clean and they are very helpful when you have no idea what you want or what your doing. They always ask if I want to up grade my bottle of lotion when I come I come in because it's super helpful and sometimes the lotion I've been using is old and they want to make sure I get the best results! I bought a month unlimited tanning package, and thought the price was quite reasonable. I was planning a tropical vacation, and wanted to reduce my risk of sunburn. I explained my history of serious sunburns to the owner and staff, and they helped me to gradually work up to several minutes per day by the time the month was over. I have gone tanning here for the last three years. The staff are very friendly and not pushy at all. They are helpful with the type of tanning you might want to try - beds, stand up units or spray tanning. Also knowledgable about the lotions to use and how different people have reacting to some of them. They have NEVER pushed me to prucahse any of their products or packages, just offerred. I have not bought the lotion there and the staff has not been rude because they haven't sold a package or lotion. The rooms and equipment are always clean and staff always professional!! I have tanned about 5 or 6 times here. The people at the desk are always rude, stuck up, pushy, and try to get you to buy a big package or a bottle of lotion, and if you don't they are even more rude. Don't tan here. read more

I have to admit the first time I walked in I felt a little overwhelmed at first because all of the girls are so pretty, but they are all really nice and very knowledgeable. They always take the time to answer any questions I have regarding tanning. Whenever a new tanning lotion comes out they always give their honest opinion of which one works best, but I have never found them to be pushy at all. Overall I think the atmosphere is fun and the employees make you feel welcome right when you walk in. The staff at Turbo Tan is very friendly and welcoming when you come in. The waiting area is bright and has a fun vacation-like decor. There are so many different choices regarding packages. They did not lock me into any type of auto-scheduled payment plan, nor did I have to sign up for 6 or more months. There are many different types of beds and different tanning levels. The rooms and beds are always clean and sanitized. The spray tanner is great. You can customize it by adding bronzers and scent to the spray. I came out and didn't have any streaks and I also did not have an "orange tint" but a nice bronze glow. They give you clear instructions on how to use the blocking lotion etc. There is a great selection of lotions, they sell samples so that you can try out the lotion before buying the entire bottle, this way you know it's something you will love. You can make an appointment or just walk in. There are stand up booths, beds and even a leg tanner! I have always been satisfied with the amount of color I have after tanning. Also I haven't had any trouble with any of the equipment. It makes me feel good, it is relaxing and I get many compliments on my tan! I would highly recommend this tanning salon. read more

Don't tan here, they are big scam artists. Over a year ago the sales people talked me into buying a 10 visit package. "Spin our prize wheel, your visits never expire...!!!" Okay, I bought the package and spun the wheel. I "won" $50 towards any tanning lotion. Mind you, even with my savings I shelled out a nice chunk of money. Shortly after buying the package, I learned I was pregnant with my 2nd child, so tanning was put on hold. Over the last few months I have been in once or twice. Two days ago I arranged child care and had a few hours to do some things for myself for once. I popped in for a quick tan, knowing I had several visits left in my package. The girl at the counter said I needed to give her $50 if I wanted to tan!!! I couldn't believe it. My account was showing that they "in-housed" $50 of my last purchase and that I had to pay up or I couldn't tan. In response I asked her to tell me what was charged to my debit card at the time of my last purchase and she couldn't tell me, nor was there a manager available. I left a message for the manager or owner and no one has gotten back to me. Terrible customer service. They can keep my visits (that I prepaid) and they can keep this bad review. read more
