Lots of high quality merchandise too--lots of imported German cooking tools, etc. Well worth a stop if you're in the area. I purposely didn't pick-up a shopping cart at the door so I wouldn't break the bank. This is going to be a regular stop for my trips to Montreal.

Still, I'm fine paying extra and crossing town to shop a local small business vs the internet juggernaut that needn't even be named. Had a ten-dollar item in hand but had come to make specific purchases that would have amounted to hundreds. I've shopped there before, but I won't again, sadly.

The trend seems to be having small appliances look retro. The prices were pretty good. I also liked the popcorn accessories and microwave poppers. I love popcorn so much that I pretty much knew what everything did. If you're into looseleaf tea infusers, you can find cool ones at this store. I was mesmerized by an EggXact Peel, which allows you to safely peel the shell off a hard-boiled egg. It amazes me what products get developed. I love this store. The woman hesitated then said, "Montréal, downtown Montréal." turns out they are on Parc Avenue, not really downtown. They have no prices on ta les they sell so they ask we send in a price request. I chad called, as requested, but then the woman said, "We don't give prices on the phone." Really? Your website says that's what we have to do. But okay. "Send an email," she said. So on Friday, July 7 I sent an email asking the price, the height, and the gauge of the steel. I have still not heard back. It isn't clear why she has to have people send in emails for prices--of products that are everywhere. do I ordered a table yesterday and it was delivered today. The chat line representative answered all my questions promptly, and gave me a special quote. No big whoop. Mona's et Cie (Mona's and Company) was rude and a waste of time.

On the bottom floor is their close-out section which had some fantastic deals on a full array of commercial items. I met with the owner who couldn't have been more cordial; I greatly appreciated the time he spent showing and touring his store.
