We had a lovely spacious room that overlooked a storybook pastoral view, complete with frolicking sheep. In the morning we were provided with one of the best breakfasts we have had at any facility. Breakfast, served amiably and with courtesy by Mr. Martin, allowed a choice from multiple options including a traditional Irish breakfast, porridge with Bailey's or Irish whiskey, and other options. The scones were first rate, and the selection of fresh fruit was one of the best I have seen anywhere - better than many of the finest hotels. Our hostess, Josephine, was most gracious and provided many useful details regarding the sites to see in the area, and navigation to them, as well as our next destinations. She recommended a walking tour of Derry that was of unusually good quality. All in all, I would have to agree that it is not an exaggeration to state that this is the best B&B in Ireland. The Martin family sets the standard for caring for the traveler. They evince a level of care and warmth that clearly transcends that of a mere business concern.

Teapot Lane Luxury Glamping was the best weekend experience I've ever had. I stayed there for two…read morenights with a group of five girl friends and we were thrilled by the high-quality accommodations; it was really the perfect mix between being home and camping. We had a lovely bonfire, cooked with our yurt's grill, stayed up talking all night in the glow of the fairy lights strung through our yurt. It was warm, clean, and secure. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, basic ingredients and good books; the outdoor common sitting area was so beautifully and simply decorated that it looked like something out of a wedding. To top it all off, the owners were so kind that in the morning they drove my friends and I to the coast for a day of paddle boarding. Doubtlessly this was one of the best weekend trips I've had in my life.

There's nothing groundbreaking about the food - it's good country family type fare - big portions and good quality though maybe lacking in flavour and thought in some instances. The staff were not the friendliest which is what dropped a major star in my opinion. It's a cute spot though and as I said, the food was hearty and filling, so I wouldn't put up a major protest against going back!
