Anerkennung oder Umrechnung der Noten) erforderlich sein. 2.

I can only recommend this school. When we moved to Germany…read moreone year ago with an 11 year old boy, I was very worried about the choice of the most suitable school for him: he didn't speak German and knew only few basic words in English. We found a great EAL (English as an Additional Language) department and an inspiring class teacher. This year my son is in Grade 6, in an English A class (that for native speakers), he studies German and Spanish too. They teach in a way that is different from the one we where used to in Italy, and, having worked as a math and science tutor for traditional school, it took me some time to realize that "different" doesn't mean "worse". At the moment the school is opening a City Campus for Primary School in Leopoldstr. in Munich, absolutely a more convenient location for the families with young children who live downtown.

No sports facilities at all. They have a basketball ring without a court, kids play football…read moreduring break in a very small stony and dusty area- where kids get most of their injuries. The students have to travel with the bus to a dirty public swimming pool to be able to go swimming and the students do sports activities either in another sports club or in public school sport facilities nearby. The school itself especially the toilets are very dirty and smelly . Not understandable for an expensive private school. The traffic is terrible with a very unfriendly Housemeister regulating the traffic. My child wants to change the school because of him. He should talk to the parents directly and not terrorize the kids if he's got a problem with the parents bringing kids to the other entrance because of the terrible traffic going to the back entrance. Parents are not even allowed to escort the kids through the back entrance and expect them to just let the kids jump out of the car as they are not allowed to park there. Which is very unsafe not only because of accidents due to the traffic chaos but also as it is right beside the park connecting to the english garden. They have to understand that parents also need to ensure their kids' safety as there is not even a security or staff looking after the back gate. I had to close the gate myself a few times when there is no one around anymore and all the kids and teachers are in the classrooms. They should also understand that Parents have to get to work on time! It's impossible with that terrible traffic on the way to the back entrance to do so! Some teachers specially the german ones are very unfriendly without empathy. If kids get hurt while playing, they get threatened if they don't stand up immediately instead of checking first if they had serious injury. I can say it as I have witnessed it myself. We are now looking into the possibilities of transferring our child into another school as our child and we are not happy with this school. No wonder other Phorms have already closed. Many have already left and I don't think this school has a good future in the long run. It's just all about making money. The quality of teaching and the curriculum is quite behind compared to the german public schools. We heard from other parents that their kids had to repeat a year after moving to a public Gymnasium.

Probably one of the worst education systems in Munich. The pre-school, the primary school and the…read morehigh school are all part of a blown up marketing machine. The facilities/capabilities are poor (no proper sports facilities, no onsite psychologists, no proper training of teachers) there is a high turnover of English speaking teachers and the high school can't fill more than 2 classes per year. It is really expensive and there is little value for money. The administrations of all schools are really poor and they are not interested in the individual development of children, they are oversubscribed so they can do as they please and they scrutinize children to death and outsource developments to the parents. You will get lovely weekly emails with pictures though to make you feel that 1000 euros a month have funded something. Time in the children would be more worthwhile though. It is common knowledge that lots of parents have taken their children out of this system and are happier for it.
