AMAZING!!! I supinate-- so I walk on the outer parts of my feet. I brought in a pair of birkenstocks that were completely worn on the outer part of the sole. Terrible customer service. Overpriced. Owner is rude. Quality of work is poor. Place is a mess. Returned shoes dirty and when I brought this to the owners attention he wiped them clean with a disgruntled attitude as if I shouldn't say anything. Trying to patronize a local business and out of convenience I brought shoes there on 3 different occasions and was not satisfied. Well, 3 strikes and your out. I brought my leather pocketbook there twice for the zipper to be fixed. Both times it was still broken. Not happy with the service.

I cannot vouch for their shoe repair services; however, I took my watch in for a simple change of battery and - it seems - that they have no experience performing this task. They could not replace my watch back and they asked me to leave it. I did not feel right about leaving my watch for such a simple task ... lest I return and it get it back totally inoperable. So??? I now have a watch with (STILL my old battery) ... but wrapped in scotch tape to secure the back. read more

I bought my bag to be fixed here. Although it took about a months to fix apparently to the materials it looks good. The strap is fixed And the part where the bag click to closes was also fixed. I have plans to return here for other things in the future to add onto my review read more

What a nice couple who own this shop. I was shocked that this place was still here as most mom and pop places don't really last anymore. My mom needed her shoes repaired at the last minute, and once my mom let the wife know that she needed the shoes for my fathers funeral she made her husband get to work right away on fixing my moms heels. The repair work took maybe 20 minutes, the pricing was fair, and both husband and wife were very kind and professional. I will definitely return with my shoe needs. read more

I dropped my shoes off on a Sunday and was told they would be done by Wednesday. Came on the falling Friday but they still weren't done. Asked for a discount and both the wife and husband argued with me and agreed about taking a $1 off of the shoe heel making it $5 for a shoe heel. But that was what they charged me $5 for each shoe heel. I will NEVER come back here. While I was there it took the wife 10 minutes to find one pair of my shoes. Then she said that they lost the other pair and found it that day so it wasn't worked on but then the excuse for the late work was that the husband was sick. If that was the case then they should have sent a text out to everyone saying there would be a delay. A big delay and waste of my time. Also while I was there, a woman was picking up her bag and there was someone else's contents in her bag....disgusting. This place is disorganized, full of disappointment, and dirty as f**k. Go to the shoe repair on Merrick by Food club. I hear they have better quality and better customer service read more

I bought a pair of boots to be repaired at Tudor Shoe repair. I wanted a broken heel fixed and the end of the heels capped. They did a botched job; they glued the broken heel back on (I could have done that myself) and didn't cap the heels. You could visibly see the glue; I charged $15. When I asked why my heels were not capped; the owner said that's an extra $10. I will not be returning. I advise anyone to go elsewhere. read more

I would come to this shoe repair for all my shoe repair needs. The new owners/management is HORRIBLE!!!!! I brought a sandal in for the strap to be repaired giving them a whole week to get the job done. The wife informed me the repair would be ready Sunday by 1:30pm. I arrive on Sunday at 2:30pm to pick up the item. Everything is a mess. Customers items are thrown in a bin, nothing tagged and nothing labeled. The wife asked me 3 times was my item a shoe or handbag. Then she asked what kind of show was it. Then she asked what color was it. By now, I am annoyed of the unorganization in this place. However, when she finally finds my shoe, IT WAS NOT EVEN DONE!!!! When asked what was the problem, the husband says he didn't have time. Are you serious????? I requested my money back and told the wife I would get the work done elsewhere as I don't have time to patronize this business. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. This place deserves no stars. Even prior to their renovation their sorting system was poor. After the renovation it was worse! I have been there THREE times in about five or six months, and EACH time it was a pain for them to find my shoes. They have all of their shoes in bags with orange tags they can never seem to match with yours. I went there Saturday (the twenty-first) and it was the same nonsense! I was upset, and told the man that he needed a better system. He told me why did I come so many times if I was unhappy, and I told him, "I like to support small business." He did not redo the heels like I asked, and told me I wanted them stretched. That is not true, because I have narrow feet! I did not yell or make a scene, but my constructive criticism was not well received. He did not apologize. Nor did he seem the bit bothered by the fact that he did not properly fix my shoes. If you want the wrong things done, and to wait longer than you would at a car wash, with a militant attitude, bring your shoes, and leather goods here! read more

I love this place ! They fixed my heals that were shaking ! I was shocked that it could be even fixed, as I wanted to throw them out. I was called them and they told me to bring it in.
