Highly Recommend!…read more Both of my kids have been with Mathnasium for two years, and the results have been amazing. Not only have their math skills improved, but their confidence has grown tremendously. My 7th grader now understands new concepts before they're even taught in class! The instructors are patient, friendly, and engaging, and the Directors--Konner and Marzenna--are fantastic. They welcome parent input and adjust the learning plan as needed, even offering homework help and reteaching when necessary. We love the holistic, team-based approach. So grateful for the support Mathnasium has given our family!

It has really helped me with my confidence and helped others to understand me when I speak. Francine has been so encouraging and pleasant to work with. I've also come to really look forward to catching up with her, Diana, Kim, and the rest of the staff. I couldn't recommend them more!!! Thank you so much for everything.

Francine and her team is incredible! I would recommend her speech services to anyone. My daughter…read morewas born with a cleft lip and palate and started speech therapy at a very young age. We started seeing Francine when my daughter was about 1 1/2 years old and went once per week. Francine has a very routine/structured approach that I admire and has worked great for our family. Before seeing Francine routinely, it was very hard to understand my daughter. She could not properly pronounce her sounds/words and would get easily frustrated because I wasn't able to meet certain needs of hers. With the help of Francine, the "homework" and simple techniques she gave us, my daughter thrived! Fast forward 2 1/2 years later and my daughter is speaking fluently and is understood by me and other adults and her friends. We would not be where we are today without Francine's help and support she gave us. Unfortunately, we had to move due to my husbands job and were very sad to leave the speak-e-z family. If we ever find ourselves back in Monterey we will definitely go back to Francine because she is the best!

After my kid was able to attend this CDC I can reverse my original stance of a poor review. What I…read morediscovered was the CDC staff is wonderful. What I grew angry about was the process for getting my kids in. Once I realized this was due to the large population in the area I now understand why it takes so long. We got on the list about 3 months before we arrives and both children were accepted over the summer when lots of turn-over occurs. There is priority to those with two working parents or one working one looking for work or single parent. As there should be. It may be frustrating if your child can't attend, but the process is clearly laid out or explained if you call. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and has overall been great. The room staff is also nice and keeps us informed. They also offer twice a month "date nights" from 6-10 and they will watch your kids for $4/per hour/per child. We routinely take advantage of this service, being able to go out alone and have both kids watched for maximum of $32 is wonderful!

Outstanding junior community college, I highly recommend for getting basic required courses…read morecompleted in relatively small class sizes, for cheap to no cost. They even have high school programs to earn college credits. I took extra night summer classes to complete my bachelors degree, decades ago. I took real estate classes on line and on campus to get my real estate license. Trade school classes are excellent for police, fire, nursing, medical/dental assistance, mechanics, etcetera. Many seniors take cooking, gardening, photography, exercise, art, dance, theater and other programs. Fabulous to stay active and exercise/move! Public schools are so affordable, compared to say, Williams at $70,000 plus per year! Really, if you have a child interested in higher education: perhaps they should aim for a 4.0 grade point average at a junior college, then get a scholarship at a state university for the last two years. I moved to California, after graduating one year early (at 17) with honors, from a public high school. Went to UCLA, at 17 with the hill side strangler roaming the neighborhood. Classes were 500 plus students in auditorium halls, for the basic mandatory courses. Ridiculous!!! Interesting adventure for a country girl from Massachusetts, but I do not recommend. I finally graduated UCSC, correct a banana slug: after Wheaton College, a year in Osaka Japan and other experiences. However, I always treasured the value of the community colleges, I attended. Cabrillo and MPC primarily, but the state law school I graduated from, was also excellent and cost effective (MCL). Enjoy your life and aim for less debt.
