They had a package deal which took care of all of my car's fluids and included an oil change (which is what I really went in for). I made the appointment for 10am and walked to Chatswood Chase since I had 4 hours to kill. They called me a little early and I was able to pick up the car. They had done a good job except they installed new windshield wipers that I don't think were intended for my car. They make this really annoying squeeking noise when they are on and there isn't enough water on the windshield. It would be fine if it was just a slight sound, but it's loud. Midas doesn't have to get your permission for an installation like that since you sign a waiver for additions like windshield wipers. This would be fine if they worked, so just make sure you try out the wipers if they said they replaced them.

I contacted them on a sunday afternoon and the phone was answered promptly the hours of availability for contact were quite extensive. Not only that but when I cancelled the inspection at the last minute, they were completely fine with it and did not charge me anything. Despite the fact that I cannot comment on the quality of their service, they offered quite a comprehensive check(including RTA vehicle check), for $200 which seems like a very competitive price.

He did mention that my brake pads were 80% worn and I could get these replaced for another $76 or so, and initially I said yes but then checked my last service receipt (from another shop) and I'd had my brakes inspected a couple months back, I wasn't sure I really needed these done so I declined. Picked the car up that arvo and she drives as good as new. Is still probably scared of me though. Maybe I should wash her more.

In the case of the radiator they plugged the hole and made a time to bring it back. Very trustworthy. Agree with last reviewer there is a great cafe a couple of bays down while you wait or trains and buses if you need to get somewhere for a while.
