They quoted me a price for oil change and side mirror installation so I came back 2 days later and got it done and Lo and Behold, the price was 3x what was quoted to me. I paid it because they had my car and what can you do. Came back a couple days later and called them out and they turned disrespectful and insulted my car. We moved back to Utah2 1/2 years ago after being gone 31 years from Las Vegas. We had an amazing mechanic in Vegas that was honest and thorough. My Lexus wouldn't start when I parked it and no one was around to give me a jump. I had to have it towed and the towing company suggested that I should take my car to TSW. He says that he had heard nothing but good reviews on them. When I got my car back, they told me that my inside lights had been on for a while and that I still had some juice left in my battery. He sent me away with NO CHARGE. I have taken all my cars to him ever since and they have sent me away several times telling me that I could wait on repairs. How many mechanics have ever told you that??? When I do need repairs, I get a very fair price on all my cars. I love this place more than the shop in Las Vegas! My entire family uses this shop. These guys are incredible! I can't believe how honest and transparent they are. I have had them work on 4 of my cars now and every time they get it done within the same day, the price never goes up (this last time they actually charged me less than what they said they were going to), they do quality work, and are super easy to work with. Most of the time they are even cheaper than I can find parts to do it myself, it is well worth the money. One time they messed up on something and I called them and they had it fixed for free the very next day. They are great and run an amazing business. 100/10 read more

I used to come here for all of my auto repair needs because i never had any issues and felt they were honest until today. I paid for an oil change and for TSW to replace a front turn signal. When I looked over the repair on the turn signal. I noticed they pulled the actual plastic cover off and glued it back on with some sort of adhesive and clear tape to hold it on. I noticed the tape before I left but he assured me It was there when i brought it in. That does not make sense as I know for a fact I did not tape something that was never coming off to begin with. The first two pictures are the opposite side in which the housing should look. The next four are what TSW did. I called and back and tried to explain that this is not right and I don't even have glue like that at home. He continued to be very rude and double down blaming me as if I taped and glued my turn bulb then hung up on me. Which again does not make sense. Why would I bring in to change the BULB if the whole housing was falling apart? In that case I would have asked to have both repaired. I could have damaged my own car for $50.00 and did what they did. I gave them two chances to correct THEIR MISTAKE. However both times were handled unprofessionally. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this shop anymore. Untrustworthy and unprofessional. read more

I've been taking my cars to TSW since 1997. I don't go often but when my car has issues and I don't feel like fixing it myself I know TSW will do the job right. They are friendly, professional, and honest. I still remember The first time i took my car to TSW. I was having issues with my car starting and the dealership charged me $75 to diagnose the problem. They said it was my starter and wanted to charge me $500 + for parts and labor . I called TSW and they said they could replace it for under $300. I took my car to them and it turns out the contacts on the starter just needed cleaning. TSW only charged me $40 so I was happy. A couple years later when my starter did finally die, I took my car to TSW and I was completely satisfied. I recommend them to anyone looking for an honest mechanic. read more

TSW is hands down the best automotive shop I have ever used. I have been taking my cars to the capable mechanics at TSW for years now and 99% of the time I can drop off my car on any given morning without an appointment and my car is done by 5:00pm the same day. I don't know how they do it as there are so many cars there every morning but somehow they manage. Probably the best part about TSW is they won't do the work on your car unless you really need it. I got suckered into going to Fire*tone for a cheap oil change. They gave me a laundry list of items that needed to be fixed before I left or my car would be in BIG trouble. I chose to take it to TSW. Quang looked over my car and told me I didn't need any of those things fixed. When I asked what I owed him for looking at my car he said nothing. Just bring it to me when it really needs something I'll take care of it. TSW is always cheaper than the dealer and as cheap or cheaper than any other mechanic. They stand behind their work and give you a warranty on any work they perform. Not that I have ever needed the warranty. The bottom line is that TSW is an honest and capable shop. TSW really helped us when we needed New catalytic converters for my daughter's 2005 Toyota Sequoia. We were quoted $4000 from the Toyota dealer but TSW did it for much cheaper. When a check engine light came on weeks after the repair we took the car back. They ran the codes and figured it out without charging us anything. Nice people. I've brought my car in for multiple reasons and they've always been very responsive, extremely reasonable, and always timely. They replaced my A/C in 1/2 the amount of time that everyone else was quoting me and for about $400 less. What I loved about this visit is that he noticed our sliding van door was 'sticking' so he told us what the problem was, but made a few minor tweaks that made it so much easier to open. He didn't even charge us for it. They replaced my radiator in 2-3 hours for $250 less then two other quotes I received. I'll definitely keep coming back. These guys are awesome! read more

Took one of my cars there and they fucked something up cause now my car won't stop leaking it started happening once I got it back but unfortunately I didn't have the money I tried to call but they said it wasn't there fault. I took my fiances car before because it wouldn't run. They had it 6 times charged up the ass and couldn't even fix it. Took it to another repair shop and they figured it out in one day. They just want your money it seems like. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. read more

They do not charge you for looking to see what the problem is, and will tell you when something is not worth repairing (even though you may not want to hear it, but they are just being honest with you). TSW is our only choice for a mechanic is SLC. They are always honest and have the best prices every time I have shopped around. They will not do any work unless they find a REAL issue. They will do a free diagnosis of any issues or for a new car inspection and once over if you are thinking of purchasing. I appreciate that you can also drop your car off in the evening or early morning if needed and they will get to it as soon as possible when they open. Great service every time! read more
